  1. Re:Not American? on Windows in Brazil Costs 20% of Per Capita Business Income · · Score: 1
    From the FAQ:

Slashdot is U.S.-centric. We readily admit this, and really don't see it as a problem. Slashdot is run by Americans, after all, and the vast majority of our readership is in the U.S. We're certainly not opposed to doing more international stories, but we don't have any formal plans for making that happen. All we can really tell you is that if you're outside the U.S. and you have news, submit it, and if it looks interesting, we'll post it. Slashdot International, anyone?

    I hope.

I have the same question as well. I'm looking forward to buy some albums from Amazon's MP3 store. I'm willing to spend my money, but if only they would let me buy it. I'd like to steer clear from allofmp3.com or mp3sparks.com but if I can't get what I want, the Amazon guys could lose a potential customer.

Assuming you did not share the folder itself, I believe it only streams the music from your computer to your coworkers' computers. iTunes will scan for other iTunes-running computer in your network and that's it. Just streaming, no downloads. You can't grab the music files and download it to your computer.
