I have found that reducing the pointer movement speed has been the most helpful. Most mice tend to move farther in relation to the speed the mouse moves. Tremors tend to cause quick furtive movements which cause the pointer to leap across the screen. By lowering the ratio you can inhibit the worst of the effects of poor movement and tremors. It may mean having to lift the mouse and move it back because there is not enough room to move the pointer across the screen, but that is less frustrating than not being able to hit the spot I am aiming for.
In the spirit of disclosure, I am affilliated with http://www.fraudeliminator.com/ but I can't help but point out that 80% of Netcraft's toolbar is devoted to promoting themselves and has nothing to do with preventing phishing. They also suggested that costco.com was a phishing site. I admit I like to fish around for new tools and toys there, but so far I got what I paid for.:)

The beta will expire on June 1, 2005. At this time you will need to uninstall the Beta and re-install your prior Symantec product or purchase the full version and install it."
I thought a public beta was for the benefit of the developer. They should make it easier to revert back to old configuration instead of having to go through long involved process of re-installing.

We just released a free toolbar for FireFox. FraudEliminator marks the first advanced anti-fraud tool for Mozilla's popular FireFox browser. FraudEliminator defends against all kinds of online fraud, including phishing, pharming, and DNS exploits, and also shows information about each site you visit, including where it is hosted and when the domain name was registered. Every site is evaluated as the page loads for fraudulent characteristics. Most phishing sites have done great damage before anyone has them on their blacklist. We also collect and blacklist known fraud sites. Give us a try at FraudEliminator
FraudEliminator was released in November. While Netcraft's product resembles ours it does not provide the same level of protection. FraudEliminator was designed to protect our Mothers and Grandmothers. We not only block pages that are already on our black list; we analyze every page as it loads and block suspicious sites based on a user configurable set of rules. When a suspicious site is blocked you may choose to continue to the site if you know that it is safe or block the page from loading.
We do not offer any advertising in our toolbar.
We are close to releasing a Macintosh version as well as a Firefox version.
We welcome all comments and suggestions.

Hey since we are knee deep into baseball season and baseball IS a geeky sport and slashdot hits homeruns on a daily basis a design built around a bat and a ball would work. Too bad I'm not an artist or I would draw it myself.
You left out an important Magog detail
on
Andromeda
·
· Score: 2
That detail being that the Magog character has found "the Way" to overcome his beastly nature and wears a pendant with the AA symbol around his neck. This counterpoint between his nature and his conscience while in some ways similar to the early struggle that the Vulcan race was said to go through, differs in this case because the battle is being won by spiritual means rather than pure reason.
This part of the review describes the things that made the game unplayable for me:
"What is contrived is the in game Quake III rendered cinematics which feature
the most stilted looking characters since Daikatana hit the scene.
Luckily, the voice acting is better than average, unluckily
there are a lot of cutscenes and it's rough to watch the action grind to a halt each time one loads.
Which leads to another sticking point; the load times in this game are long.
The game certainly gives the illusion of more interactivity than it actually offers. There are Half-Life-esque moments where you can influence the action but for the most part it's just a corridor crawl against predictable AI. They shoot at you and they run at you but that's all they do. There are no surprises outside of the plotline."
yeesh!
