The only time that you want to use a GPU is when your code has a high proportion of numerical operations, and when your problem can be executed in parallel. (modeling, graphics) If this is not the case then using a GPU is not going to speed things up.
Code where you are mostly just moving data around with sparse calculations (routers, databases, webservers, AV) is not a good problem for video cards.

You'd think that linux would have solved the "having to physically move the box" problem by now, sheesh
30 minutes less sleep a night is more detrimental to your health than living a sedentary lifestyle? Who said anything about sedentary? The GP poster is not, as shown by what she said:
I'm juggling a long commute, housework, yardwork Getting enough sleep and not being sedentary are not mutually exclusive.
I find it kind of funny that you accuse me of being a "fat cow" since I disagree with what you say. For your information I am 5'11" 235lbs, and I can bench press my bodyweight. I could probably bench press your wife too.
Tonight it's a delectable primate sausage, or alternatively spam, spam, spam or spam*.
*note SPAM, as it is referred to here, stands for Spicy Piece of A Man
Thats not enough penalty. What about wireless electrodes on the balls. They could set it up so they are surgically attached as part of the user agreement when you buy the console. Then when people say their PS3 has them by the balls it really wont just be a figure of speech.
Funny thing is, I get a lot more paper spam than email spam. From where I stand, paper spam is a worse problem. It certainly kills a lot more trees. And I can't set up a filter for my paper spam. Where I live (Canada) you can mark your mailbox with a label that says "No ad mail", and they will stop putting fliers and other junk in it. I imagine that USPS, and others, have a similar policy. Unfortunately this won't work for mail that is actually addressed to you. In that case you could probably call the sender to tell them to take you off the send list.

With the way things are going, India might end up outsourcing the manufacture of this laptop to America.
Actually wouldn't it be easier to just not build the better telescopes. That way things don't change. Outta sight, outta mind!
Hmmmm, I tested this in ff2 and IE7 and they both showed (as plain text):
testing x2
There was no save file dialog.
Actually I was wrong, it needed to be saved with the correct file extension (xhtml).
It rendered properly in FF2 when I did this and caused the save file dialog in IE7.

Actually what you said is a load of crap. The last thing you want to do is sleep less There is a lot of information out there linking lack of sleep with obesity.
A quick Google turned this up:

Its called shareware.
Does this require multiple processes to run? From what I understand, current Linux kernels have a ~2GB process size limit.
