If this thing ever comes to pass. I hope they break up the battery in smaller sizes and distribute them throughout the plane. I can't imagine the horror of a single huge battery hitting something on a crash landing.

  7. You may ironically have a good idea here. If they use power cords to get the planes up into the air on takeoffs and drop off, you could save a lot of battery drainage.

Since when is starting a company an irrational need?? A company is supposed to provide a product or service that people need. So are companies themselves irrational? (Today-Maybe) But getting back to what a company is supposed to represent is a sane product or service that is supposed to make life a little better. As for CEO's themselves? (Not the company.) The psychopathic answer is yes. Just look at their perks, take home pay, and severance pays - You don't have to look too far, or too hard.

I wonder how much weight, electricity, extra parts and cost is going to be shifted to the buyer. Tell me, what happens when one of these special parts break? This will also give the insurance companies a chance to devour you $$$ if you don't comply. I hope they keep the manual override option for another 10 years. Hopefully I'll be dead by then, and won't have to contend with the car crushing situation. I'm sure even the bare bone cars will not be cheaper. Why can't they just stick to making life easier in general in the workplace and at home to prove them selves worthy of automating cars??

  14. Right you are my friend! And to add to what you said, let's turn it around. Air wave transmitting stations pay for their rent by putting on commercials. What you receive on your TV set is free. So what makes cable so big that you have to pay for it on top of being force fed commercials??

If social security was given to everyone we would all be getting efficient insurance! And get rid of that dam cap! You make money, you pay into Social Security, period. One day your company may tank and it will be you who has nothing! - Regarding insurances: why on earth would you want insurance as a middle man which only only job consists of to deny you of what you need, and their other main goal consists of taking a huge chunks of the money that should be used for people’s healthcare? And yes I do want single healthcare. Without paperwork, middlemen, and bull cr*p rules, Our country would save a lot of money using less people to serve the sick!

  16. Anonymous. Some people just don't get it.. They'll never know, that from 1960 to 1974, the deal of most Corporations was this: 'You take care of us by working hard, and we'll take care of you the rest of your life!' Those employees not only stayed with those companies, they stayed fiercely loyal to that company!! Companies like those back then were just like families that love you. ..Now it's almost completely gone back to 1929 and the depression. Some day you will read again! 'When an employee fell down dead on the job from exhaustion, they carried him away. 2 seconds later another person was doing his job.'

You now get 1000's of channels (of duplicates). I wonder if people caught up with this trick?... On the other hand: If you offered 40 commercial free channels (Of your choice.), it would be plenty for $20.00 bucks a month. Save your bandwidth for cable games, for people who want to pay extra!!
