Start your own shell corporation. License all your inventions prior to date X to this shell corporation. Sign an NDA with the shell corporation saying that you will not disclose these ideas to another client. Write on any new contract that your prior ideas and inventions are already owned and under NDA by a prior client, so cannot be disclosed, just as your current contractor would not want their trade-secrets invented by you exposed to your future clients.
But IANAL.
After reading that idea I'm thinking you should be a lawyer.
He's not being a prick - to see what is being patented you have to look at the claims, it really doesn't matter what it says in the text. He looked at the claims to find out what was being patented - that's always the first thing you should do.
I agree that this is stupid, but the problem is the patent system, not this patent. Under the current system this patent is perfectly 'reasonable'.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out - isn't there are crime called "wasting police time" or something? Can you be prosecuted for clicking that icon without good cause?
Maybe check out the Asus range - I bought a cardbus card (Asus WL-107G) which says on the box it supports "Redhat Linux (After 7.1)" - worked fine with Ubuntu.
Also you don't actually get 11Mb/s out of an 11b network - I usually get less than 5Mb/s (which is the speed of my ADSL line), so for me I think it is time to upgrade.
Hehe - luckily I have a wife with no fear: she bought another lot right at the bottom, so between us we're in profit (of course she'd be in more profit without my initial purchase).
Any plans for a live CD? I'm a long time RH user who switched to Ubuntu after a tried a live CD and found all the hardware on my laptop worked out of the box (even Windows didn't manage that). I guess there are a few live CD's based on Fedora, but that's not really the same as having one official one.
Second question: I have a bunch of RH stock... sell or hold?
Uhh - if something exists before the patent, it's called "prior art", not infringement.
Surely that depends on how much cash you have for lawyers?

Get to law school now!
Follow your dreams!

The trash can patent now?

I have a DLP projector too - for me the biggest drawback is the fan noise.

... going to turn on and off the Caps Lock light? Eh?
Of course it's geeks who make crop circles - the only question is if they are alien geeks or not.
This is good news for the Google query based write only file system I've been working on.
Well, strictly speaking it's not write only, because it's readable by Google, but then what isn't?

I have no idea. Umm how did I get here?
omniscient. If seeing and knowing everything isn't spyware I don't know what is.
