    You make a good point, the resulting lawsuits and settlements from the 11 death comes to a billion alone. By the end of this there will not be a BP, I hope we will have a better appreciation for sustainable development.

    I agree, no commercials and it might be worth it. I think most pirates would agree that commercials are obnoxious and unwanted and they will not pay more to be rid of them. People just want freedom, commercial television, DRM, etc, are prison for media.

I would like to think the same, but I have to disagree from a point reality, and the fact that humans tend to be violent when driven to a certain extreme. You ignore the simple possibility that extraterrestrial life might be nothing like a hominid-like species, for all we know they could be sentient insect-like creatures, and could be very hostile.

    Lensing is known to happen with black holes and other massive bodies how does this map distinguish dark matter from other sources of lensing? By stating Dark matter has no interaction with electromagnetic radiation clearly contradicts the support that it also bends light. Unless "interaction" has a separate astrophysical meaning which is unfamiliar to me. I don't see how this gets us any closer to understanding the nature of dark matter/energy.

    Apart from that, think of the costs. Our government can't afford to do anything that absurd, ooh wait... I think Yale should DNA profile all Law student applications to make sure no one with the similar DNA mutation gets accepted.

    Well I am using 2.6.31-16-generic. My problem is that the flash plugin for firefox tends to cause flickering video. I have updated plugins. Because my graphics card is close to junk I can't really do too much; however, I used to be able to render like 60fps in the Steam engine (source) when I had windows installed, but windows had some serious security issues so I swapped to linux.

    Does anyone knowledgeable about Linux distros know which one provides the best video driver support (for mobile platforms)? I use Ubuntu and have had many issues with trying to run anything in 3D or Flash plugins.

    I think the problem was that the Mythbusters didn't realize that explosions of that amplitude cause significant shock waves. A poor miscalculation on their part, then again if they were real scientists they would have done an estimate before hand that accounted for such an event. Although it may have been a rare event, Mythbusters seem so often trying to prove things can't happen when in all probability they are possible.

    First off, time is quite relative. Second, DST is pointless, the only reason for its existence to ensure that people will use more energy, shop more, and feel like they just woke up an hour earlier that morning.

    In fact, it is quite relative. So relative, in fact, that it remains true that anything created by man can in turn be undone. It would be foolish to assume that there exists an end to the war of codes, that being the battle between the encryptors and decryptors.

    Very interesting... Maybe a "terrorist" is one who likes to "reverse-engineer." The reason for the possible similarity is the like to create or destroy objects.

    However, in all seriousness they are very opposite. Besides an engineer's job is to help society not dismantle it (That's the government's job).
