It's not the lack of hops that makes the difference between whisky and beer it's the removal of the water by, er... distillation. Distillation can be done by freezing or evaporation. They even call it distillation in the article.
Even if you think the hops make a difference, they still end up with distilled spirit rather than a brewed liquid.
"... I didn't distribute anything or copy anything..."
Although I agree with most of your post, technically a copy is made to your machine to play the video (or at least a moving buffer of part of the content). This would be regarded as a copy. I think there was a case that dealt with this some time ago. I'm sure slashdot mentioned it.
Flash hasn't been like that for years. You think every browser is going to implement HTML5/JS in the same way? Are you going to have to write different code for each browser. Flash/Flex allows you to do that and create a desktop app with the same functionality for very little extra work.
The reason it is such a large study is to counteract the problems you mention (like some people may drink green tea and have a lower risk of cancer anyway). A big study makes it more likely that there are the same proportion of green tea drinkers in the control group and the test group.
"... since red and blue are the highest-energy colors..."
Erm, blue and green are higher energy than red. (look at a rainbow, red is at one end and blue at the other with green somewhere in the middle (ROYGBIV)).

Wow, you had red lights and veichles that could break the speed limit 200 years ago!
Oxford Street!
"... A can mate with B and E ..."
Normally in a ring species A cannot mate with E.
1.
Mules cannot mate because they are sterile, not because they have incompatible genes.
"... very single beetle with a slightly different coloration OBVIOUSLY counts as a new species ..."
Why obviously? The only definition of a species is that two organisms that cannot mate are, by definition, different species.

We have had distilled beer in Scotland for years now. We call it, erm let me think ... oh yes, whisky!

Are you serious? 9/11?
Websites generally aren't copyrighted material or are put up by the creator for public access.
It is pretty obvious from the example that the material didn't belong to the site.

Yeh, cause the rermote steering was the most unbelieveble part of the film. The whole time travel thing was, like totally believable man!
Like Yotta
Maybe you won't but then you are not CERN or the Hadron Collider
What? and inserted itself into the genes in a place where it could naturally be processed? Also, in every sample! Puh-lease!
what about autoplay="true". try overriding that in HTML5

Flash is open. Anyone is allowed to create swf files using whatever method they choose. They can write their own compiler if they wish.
or that they "see" in the visible spectrum at all.

... they are not getting any info that they can't get from a banner ad that took the user to their site in the first place.
... now that's just cheesy!
Catalysts can greatly reduce the activation energy needed for a reaction.
The activation energy of the reaction is reduced though. That's what catalysts do.

No, not as far as I know.
