    Yes it is.
It seems almost coherent but it doesn't flow nor keep in line with its original subject but it was off to a good start I was going to ask about the 10mbps with dialup return until I read the rest of the comment.

For starters I looked in 2005 such a service did not exist for those speeds also afaik you can't run a 10Mbps stream with only 48kbps upload. Maybe with a custom UDP service but not standard web TCP.

As for demand what kind of caps are going to be on this new service? Is it finally going to be something decent like 1TB?

If It offers a decent speed say 50Mbps with a 1TB or higher cap and would still work even if it's raining here or in new york i'd even switch from the LTE connection I have now.

On desktop uBlock Origin handles it well.

Someone saw it being livestreamed that's how it got reported.

As far as the police brutality thing goes the united airlines video was pulled off the front page of reddit at least twice due to a policy prohibiting police brutality videos. IIRC they finally just posted a video of someone walking down the aisle so the story could stay on the front page.

Overreaction? Probably but I personally don't know how many posts are reported in a day they do need to be able to check reported posts in a timely fashion but they don't need to screen all posts.

It's not a job I would want i'm sure 90%+ is just stuff people are reporting to be jerks but occasionally they are going to be shown things no person should ever have to see and that's another 3,000 people that will probably need some counseling eventually.

  23. Re:That won't prove commercially viable power on UK's Newest Tokamak Fusion Reactor Has Created Its First Plasma (futurism.com) · · Score: 1

I look into it occasionally IIRC getting enough power to run the HVAC was the biggest issue.

I think for us a grid tie system would be best a hybrid grid tie that could run when the grid is down would be better but a inverter capable of running both AC units would cost a about $2-4K by itself.

On average we use about 2,300kWh but in the summer it peaks around 3,600kWh

A 10kW inverter could probably handle both ac units but not much else.

So a 25K-30K kit would handle our average use but that doesn't include the install.

Assuming we used 3,600kWh every month (we don't) and power cost's $0.12/kWh (it doesn't)
    That would be $432/mo savings
Assuming we got the system sized to handle the peak load every month instead of average and it only cost $42,000 (it won't installation would cost thousands more.) it would pay itself off in a little over 8 years. Although that's unreasonably optimistic.

Anyway did you ever get any panels rigged up?

They deliver packages in the daylight because that's when the most people are available to accept packages instead of leaving them outside where they might disappear.

I'm sure they would prefer night time delivery for the minimal traffic but it would require the implementation of secure drop offs an expense most aren't willing to pay for now.
