How many people are on your netflix account?
Netflix now sells service on this fact.
In fact if you say you are the only one that uses the netflix account you are penalized with no hd video.

Amazon allows sharing and now that i'm looking into it more it looks like amazon now lets you share content through "Family Library". Exactly like what I wanted to do.

Its not stealing its not theft its not illegal its not even morally wrong and amazon even provides an easy way to do it now: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/... So apparently they're ok with it too.

So is there any reason why I shouldn't be able to use multiple accounts? Nope not really. Like I said its just android thats screwed up. It works fine on everything else It even shows on amazon's website that I am supposed to be able to do it just for some reason I can't. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/....

Yeah when amazon bumped the price from $79 to $99 shoprunner ran a special all you had to do was send them your amazon prime receipt and they would give you a free year of shoprunner.

Shoprunner only covers 3 stores I have ever bought online from newegg, tiger direct and staples.

I did not even bother to sign up since then ive bought 5 ink ribbons from staples (that was enough to qualify for free ship) because I haven't found anywhere else that can keep fresh dot matrix ink ribbons.

But that's about it I just don't need the things they sell all that often.

    Third party listing's.

Yeah thats one of the problems with buying from amazon instead of ebay.

On amazon you always get a stock photo if you get a photo at all.

On ebay you always get a picture of the item itself unless the seller has a bunch of whatever it is.

Also with amazon you have no idea how fresh food items are Twizzlers are often dry and hard wish I could get them fresh for as cheap as amazon but the local sam's club never seems to have any and they are not well sealed so they don't keep well.

A screwed up listing I can think of off hand is the listing for the 180 ct tub of twizzlers. Twizzlers also makes a 180ct cardboard box and some nitwits have taken up selling them under the same listing. Id fix it myself but i think you have to have a seller account to do that now. I seem to remember being able to fix them years ago without one.

I have also had good luck with returns. Just fyi amazon a single sealed air packing bag on one side is not sufficient protection for 4 fluorescent bulbs but I still don't know how ups only broke one of them on the way.

I had amazon to loose one of my packages between the fulfillment center and ups (I had paid extra for 1 day shipping) about 2 months ago after it hadn't arrived a week later I contacted amazon and they refunded my shipping cost and the full cost of the order but they could only reorder one of the items I had purchased I had to reorder the rest my self.

I wonder what happened to that box.
I don't think amazon was ever able to find it...it still shows to be in transit now.

I did receive a sim card cutter that was missing some parts and amazon sent me a second one free of charge.

Thats all the problems I can think of that I have had getting things in the mail from amazon.

Keep in mind I am up to 99 orders this year and I have had problems with 3 in the since ive been using amazon I think they are doing pretty good on average.

  7. Re:I'm not renewing prime this year... on Amazon Cuts Down On Prime Sharing · · Score: 1

Well I didn't use to buy much of anything from amazon because their standard shipping is much slower than the standard shipping methods on ebay.

Even if you pay extra for "expedited" ebay's "fast and free" is still faster.

The fact that amazon sellers can call usps priority mail expedited is BS.

What do I buy? well whatever I happen to need at the time
for example the last 10 things I bought on amazon.

1 trunk lift support. (yep had one to break)

1 lithium jump starter. (never had lithium type before should be interesting)

    10 ballasts for f96t12 lights.

    10 ballasts for f32t8 lights.

3 usb on the go cables.

    1 network cable tester.

1 usb otg adapter for a galaxy tab.

    1 usb htpc keyboard.

1 replacement laptop screen. (mines not broken it just has these dark spots that are spreading through the screen never seen anything like it)

    1 toshiba laptop battery.

the last 10 things I bought on ebay.

3 galaxy note chargers. (used all the other 3)

    1 toshiba laptop battery.

1 sanyo tv remote. (another model)

    1 sanyo tv remote.

4 lowering blocks for a trailer.

    4 10" long u bolts w/nuts and washers.

1 set of guitar string through ferrules.

    3 galaxy note chargers.

    1 spring assisted pocket knife.

    1 philips tv remote.

Neither amazon or ebay have been able to figure out what I like to buy but that doesn't stop them from making recommendations.

Amazon seems to think I need some hdmi cables.
    I already have plenty.

Ebay seems to think I need a new set of clothes.
But I don't like to buy clothes online no one ever bothered to standardise the sizes.....someone really really needs to standardise the clothing sizes. At the very least If I buy 3 shirt brand shirts in 3 different colors they should all be the same size.

Still that's way behind my ebay account with 147 orders this year and I am well on my way to beating last years record of 236 orders.

    Netflix/Prime sub for 1 year 8 months.

I order a lot of things I would otherwise get on ebay on amazon with the 2day ship and if I can't get it with the faster shipping I get it on ebay for the cheaper rate because amazons shipping from 3rd parties is very slow compared to the standard 3 day shipping on ebay. (ebay fast and free, us only)

I don't use prime music the selection sucks but my sister likes it and she has a lot of expensive ebooks for school on her amazon account.

SSO is a rarther moot point for the next 8 months or so.

Also amazon likes to remind you of the prime benefits you aren't using or can't use.

For instance the kindle owners lending library is a prime benefit I have a kindle app on my ipad but since it is not a "kindle" I am not allowed to use the library despite having paid for it.

Yeah I would expect a minimum accuracy to be +-100ft.
Ideal would be +-10ft most equipment won't do that especially none of the cheaper stuff.

And I would hope that a gov't requirement would bring the cost's down due to volume like it did with the led light bulbs.

But as a poster noted above unlevel terrain would be a problem in places (grand canyon).

While it should be cheap enough to geofence around areas the height limit may be a bit of a problem.

Height above ground seems silly in some places and height above sea level would just be ridiculous.

Maybe a mean height for a area? Or maybe you could have it self calibrate on take off for ground level. Although that would mean if you landed it on the bottom of the grand canyon you would have to walk it back up the walls if you could find a ledge big enough to sit it on 500ft at a time.

Having the drone self set the ground level on take off seems most likely as its both cheap and easy to implement and it has its downsides. If you were to launch your drone from a 500ft cell tower you could get to 1000ft.

A mean geographical average would be harder to implement but shouldn't have as wide a variance as self setting.

But I checked the math first.

I can get one 65w equivalent led bulb for $7.84 or I can get four 65w bulbs for $7.88.

Assuming energy cost of $0.10/kwh and 4hr/day usage the 55w difference in power usage adds up to a savings of $8.01/year.

I'm replacing mine as they burn out even with their low cost it seems a waste to throw out a perfectly good lightbulb and the newer led bulbs are a near perfect match to the incandescent bulbs I have 6 recessed fixtures in my living room and one of them is a led but you can't tell which one it is!

I Have got to say I really didn't think the turn around time would be that short. Thanks for pointing that out.
