Shortly? You're a bit late. Its already started "Automakers Say You Don't Really Own Your Car" https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/...

  2. Yep autoit removed the goto function because they said it caused spaghetti programing.

I got around it by having autoit run batch files to run the checks I needed and then the batch files run the correct autoit file.

Sure it's a heck of a lot bigger mess than if i was able to use GOTO but thats apparently what they were going for.

    Works good though.

    No I don't qualify as a real-programer.

The only requirement I have for things I make for use at home is that they work I refuse to continue working past getting to the it works perfectly for the task intended every time stage just because some programmer in Australia thinks its not pretty but I don't intend to publish it.

I already knew how to use batch files autoit is new to me and it would take me much much more time to learn how to replace GOTO in autoit for the small amount I use it than to just jump back to batch files and handle it.

Do you know anyone else that needs a script to change the windows power options (off means off!) and reenable security essentials or windows defender depending on the os version after uninstalling mcafee/norton whatever crapware av that came with the computer, start a cmd window as system or admin? No no one else wants such crap? I don't think so thats why I didn't bother to post it anywhere.

But it makes things easier for me and I suppose thats good enough.

Would be great to bypass the usb micro connectorsI have seen several devices with those broken off (dell venue) or so loose as to not work (kindle fire) so overall I really hope this gets to be a standard feature.

Its something would be happy to use but not something I would pay extra for.....unless the standard charger has one of those annoying high pitched whines like the casio ravine 2 and the wireless charger was silent then I would pay extra for it. Or if i could get one of those nice waterproof cases I would absolutely pay extra for that!

I only charge my phone about twice a week.

Well by my poor understanding of the matter.

We currently cannot convert power into motion in space like we can on earth.

On earth a plane can fly on batteries with electric motors and propellers.

In space we are limited to movement by propellant something has to leave the craft to make it move excepting gravity.

I assume that if this was ever done with any efficiency ships could be propelled by nuclear or possibly even solar power.

We don't use nuclear power for earth planes because to separate the radioactive parts from the air going through the engines adds to much weight, so did the shielding for the reactor itself but yeah bad idea from the start.

The only ion drive craft I am familiar with is the Deep Space 1 and it used xenon propellant (don't know why its not used more from my understanding the costs worked out well) afaik its still up there waiting for a command it even still has some xenon left.

But it would be a big deal if we weren't limited by how much propellant we could carry.
