i always had a sneaking suspicion that my physics textbook was wrong...
and now the funny thought is what if this somehow magically is correct... then can i light my textbook on fire because it will all be wrong and we'll have to start over from scratch?
brain age anyone? what better way to teach kids than video games, as nintendo has shown they can do... maybe we'll see more out of this genre in the future? we can only hope so, given the state of today's children
maybe this could be used to find all those lost children... just implant a tag and boom, instant kid finder.... not to mention the uses the government could come up with for this
oh man, i live in the city where that state senator is from... and i have one question... who on earth elected this guy? i certainly dont remember voting for him...
i honestly think this is ridiculous, whatever happened to freedom of speech? our legislators are turning into the next censoring giant... schools prohibit you from viewing websites (other than things children should not be seeing) that some students use for research. somehow, i see this as a complete failure of the legislative system
If you want a calculator that will take you through high school and college, and is allowed on standardized tests (SAT), you want the TI-89 titanium. You cant use an 89 on the ACT, but you can use an 86, which is by far inferior to the 89. Check with your teachers/math department about calculator policies, as most algebra classes don't allow you to use an 89. There is no one uber calculator out there, I really wish someone would come out with a really nice one... you can't graph conics on an 86 or 89 and that really is a disadvantage. Also, most classes don't allow PDA like devices or ones that resemble a computer. Happy shopping!
hopefully the flash evaporator problems they were reporting (which have since been cleared to my knowledge) dont flare up again either in orbit or re-entry
overall a good launch, i still love the views from the external tank looking down and at the shuttle
i disagree because im a teenager (17) and i have a lot of friends who go up through their low twenties... and a lot of them are more excited about the wii, even the ones who love ps2... the key to nintendos success will be more mature video games (not necessarily ratings, but themes etc). if nintendo can create a gaming environment that satisfies the hardcore nintendo people (shouldnt be hard to do with games like zelda, mario, super smash, metroid, etc) and draws in people from the xbox and ps2 market with possibly more games like red steel (ive heard conflicting interest on this one, but for now, im going to have to say that it is more of a mature game) then they should come away either closer in the mix or even slightly on top. almost everyone is itching to get their hands on a controller and the much lower price than 360 or ps3 is going to help nintendo in the long run.
