For those who like to run the game in a dual monitor format, it is inconvenient to have to decrease the horizontal window size to prevent your avatar from being in the middle where the monitors meet. Can we expect true dual monitor (or more) support in the future?
...the single most useful step Bungie can take to make multiplayer more fun, more fair, and less frustrating would be to simply host the matches on Xbox Live rather than the users themselves hosting the matches. This would eliminate a lot of the cheating that goes on, like standby-ing, lagging people out of matches, as well as balancing the competition--probably anyone who plays a significant amount in matchmaking in Halo 2 knows about the edge that goes to whoever is serving the match on their system. Just having MS handle the match serving would make a tremendous difference.
For all the reasons to bash Microsoft into oblivion, a lack of documentation is not a valid reason. The information is available, accessible, and fairly helpful. I'd rather have the documentation included on the PC rather than having to leaf through several volumes of information (which, besides being less efficient than using an indexed means of searching for the intel you're looking for, is very wasteful as not everyone would really want those manuals). You buy Windoze, you press F1. Where's the problem?
I'm an American, but if someone was going to pay me £20 million rather than $20 million, I'd take it without hesitation, with the exchange rate being what it is. The funds can be transferred into dollars, after all.
Buyer beware is all I can say about investing in a project that doesn't have a clear direction for recouping the initial investment. They have an idea of what they want to do, and it seems like a worthy idea to me, but I'm not sure why companies would want to invest in a project where there's uncertainty like this in getting a return. It seems like this would be a better idea for individuals to support, like a foundation, rather than as a business venture.
I can agree that there is something to detest in Gates' penchant for stepping all over people to acheive his goals, but to compare his actions with any seriousness to Hitler's actions is insane. I don't think Gates has ever been responsible for liquidating people. It's hard to defend someone you don't like, but saying he'd be a Hitler if elected is quite an unwarranted insult.
Prince!
I think we really need a car analogy to put it into /. terms.
...coitus interruptus?

You just blocked most of the content on the site. ...I'm not saying that's a bad thing.

In Soviet Russia, frosty piss... Profit!
