Here in Brazil some hardware sellers are betting in this wave. Corporation like Positivo PC and others are selling Desktops and Notebooks with Linux pre-installed. There are a lot of small Linux distribution in this game, growing and getting mature.
But the poor side of this is story is clear like water. Some folks buy this machines and install pirate OS's like Windows.
The idea is good and is a big bussiness. A lot of people like me buy this kind of machine and know how to use it, and don't want pirate software.
"...we brought the notebook outside and introduced it to the balmy -9*F weather of New Hampshire. Even with such painfully cold temperatures, we could not obtain a stable system when operating at 3.16GHz despite being able to boot into Windows without error."
I can't see nothing weird booting Windows without error, even with a overclocked CPU.
Well,I dont know where you live but here... The addicts start to buy videogames when the modchips are released, because the games are too much expansive. Here the Wii will gain the top for sure.
When Google paid for YouTube, the main question was the price vs "how to earn money with YouTube". This is a great move from Google, because they are able to get profits with YouTube and they are launching a new kind of service, with a giant.
Congratulations google staff!
Yeah, something like minimo. However minimo runs on Windows plataform, my question wasnt good enough. I looking for java browsers, using J2ME. Nowadays I saw only Opera doing this task.
But minimo is the answer!
Well, time of think. I agree with you, its to easy and cheap use a external solution, like a router. Now think about a dumb user who dont know how to share his connection using a router or whatever. The first step is search the way in Windows, then he finds ICS. Well, the doors are open.
Well, I worked with that machines and I can say they are secure.
They dont have any output with external world, like ethernet and others kinds of communication. The votes are stored in floppy disks, with a big seal. If the seal is broken, the votes cant be official. But the seal is big and hard to damage. I believe today we have a great vote system, because we have the results in 13 hours after the election.
Well, the security aspect is clear when you compare Firefox against IExplorer.
I bet with that guys from Symantec if they can open some brazilian banks sites with IE and stay cool. Or open some Astalavista searches.
Well, its a pretty good app. You can access quick your data, everywhere.
Now I think :
1 - Will be this is a next generation(fashion) of web apps?
2 - How many days for a big hole?

Well, Wii seems ready to get the top. With the brand new Mod Chip I think the sales will increase a lot.

Hi! Are there plans to make Firefox running in small gadgets, like mobile phones and PDA's?
