Also, multiple calendars have been available in Outlook for ages. Multiple calendar viewing has been available since 2003 as well. Not the best summary in the world. It doesn't even mention where you can download the beta! That way you can just see for yourself!

First off, good call on "don't use beta in production!" I am sure many of us have had to make the call on using a beta product before. I know I used XP SP2 when it was beta because it had so many things that I needed at the time. However, I paid for it in many ways. I would still make the call again but I at least did it with eyes open.

Second, what kind of moron installs that software, sees it tell you that your Norton software has to go, and then follow through with it when you are in a business environment? I just find that to be amazing.

Third, this strikes at one of the main reasons I have thought Microsoft's move into the anti-malware industry was a bad one. Considering how protective they are of their IP and their EULAs, it suprises the hell out of me they would violate other company's EULAs (adware companies) among other things.

Fourth and finally, there are going to be some lawsuits which really means more money for findlaw.com.

Maybe I missed it but RSS (or whatever you want to call it) seems like a bad idea for everyone. I personally don't use it.

For example, if I take slashdot's RSS feed, often I find that the headlines aren't descriptive and I ended up clicking the link and just reading the story. Im not sure how that saved me any time then just going to slashdot.org and scrolling down and scanning the site.

Now, some sites get past that by including some (or all) of the text of an article in the RSS feed. ... ... Well I would hope and pray that anyone who has ever tried to make $1 on the internet would see how stupid that is. Giving away content went out in 99 I think.

RSS feeds for ars, slashdot, digg, anandtech, hardocp, shacknews, etc. just seem silly when I can just open those sites in tabs, scroll through and get the full site and everything that goes along with that.

BUT CONVINCE ME! Say "this is where RSS really shines, not that..."

Dell's prices are pretty damn low. Catch the right deal and you get an Intel CPU and the rest of the computer for $50 more. (Well, at least it was at one point).

Anyways, anyone who builds their own boxes knows that AMD is cheaper then Intel. I hope this price difference carries over to the full systems Dell will offer.

Quite frankly, I don't give a shit if it is cheaper or not. I have to order from Dell all of the fucking time and I am giddy about the prospect of being able to go back to AMD only ordering. Why anyone wouldn't go with something that is faster and cheaper is beyond me.
