First, condolences on your condition. I understand that this is not the optimal outcome but, like you said, you're coming to terms with it. Remember to make the videos about life, her life specifically, not your condition.
Encourage her to embrace those things that that not only make her different to others but also what makes other different to her. Be sure to outline how one decides how to make items or issues priority and what "taking care of number one" means.
I don't envy your project but I endorse with all of the geekry that makes us Geeks and Nerds and good humans.
Best of luck in your venture and just remember that she will have fond memories of you from the time your shared; be honest and concise as possible so there is nothing lost in translation.
Loved this game and would definitely play the reboot were it to come to fruition! Imagine what it would be like today with the tech we have now; how would it change and should it?
Why would people be opposed to the possibility of buying a gun that limits the user base to a single person who can be identified by either a "watch" or a fingerprint? Personally I think the watch idea is terrible because someone could, feasibly, steal both the gun and the watch. Fingerprint scanners would be a much better solution for security of that firearm.
I wouldn't be opposed to some form of DNA identification either, but I am one of those people who is okay with the NSA snooping my texts, emails and phone calls... Why, you may ask? Because I am not doing or planning on doing anything illegal with my email, texts or phone calls.
I use my Samsung Galaxy S4 to control all of my devices (TV, DVD/Blu-Ray, DVR/Sat Box, Surround Sound, Roku, etc...) If only someone would make it so we can all control our living rooms by a smart phone app... Oh wait...:)
I have a Dobsonian 22" Mirror that I built from scratch about 10 years ago.
A telescope is only as good as it's lenses. Normal lenses I call Coyote Lenses because they are so crappy that they are only good for throwing at coyotes during star parties.
The power that it takes to generate electricity from a nuclear plant, I assume, is fairly immense. Does the power that a nuclear plant generate put out more pwer than it takes to generate it? I know that, for the most part, it is steam pwer, right? The rods get hot and they boil water that, in turn, generates steam. some of these plants seem pretty massive and must take a lot of power to operate.
I do agree with you, whatever someone does to your site, while not your fault (usually) is still considered a product of your site and therefore you or your company can be held liable.
The comment about the UN is a sound argument. Since our induction into the UN in October 1945 we have become the UN's World Police. While it is true that in some instances there are other peacekeeping efforts by other countries, it still stands that we, the US, because of our resources or whatever, are usually the ones who mobilize into action.
This can be seen as just another attempt by Big Brother to hold onto control of something they fear because it is mostly unregulated and open... For now.
It seems that since we joined the UN, the United States has become the Police of the World; usually operating on behalf of UN voted actions. This seems to be just another arm of that thinking.
I am not either for or against this yet as I am still deciding while gathering more facts, but, it seems to me that if companies or individuals who want to operate a.com,,net or.org domain that originated in the US should be liable for any actions that resulted from that domain...
According to the article: "This most recent discovery will no doubt give a boost to scientists lobbying for sending missions to the gas giant's satellites to search for alien life as, like the presence of liquid water, the presence oxygen could support microscopic lifeforms on other, more habitable moons."
Science is alway looking for way to expand our knowledge...
I had Cricket for years and they are in all 50 states now. I got the Sanyo Droid from them and only paid $50 per month but they have $25 / Month plans for standard phones with unlimited talk and text (including LD).
Since I moved to CA I switched to VZ and have a Droid X2 which I love, buying my wife the Razor MAXX tomorrow... WooHoo!
I signed up for the CS 101 (Not that I need it, but everyone needs a little brush up on basics now and then, right?), Cryptography and Anatomy Classes and each one has sent emails detailing everything about the delay except when they expect to start. They were very vague but at least they reached out to those of us who signed up.
I just got a Kindle Fire and I love it. Granted it only uses the Amazon App Store and the newest update, allegedlly, prevents rooting, but I can turn on the Mobile Hotspot from by Droid X2 and get email, stream Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, Free Texting, read books, play music and games.
Personally I love it and it was a cheaper alternative to the Prime, which I wanted and still do, but I can get two Fires for less than the Transformer Prime.
All of our laptops HDD's are encrypted (Good to have but the bane of IT's existance as it is a destructive process and more often than not it causes HDD's to fail eventually) HP and Dell put in seperate BiOS tools to make it harder for theives the flash the BiOS.
I work for a Major Bank and we have BiOS "Magic" that will track the Wi-Fi Card MAC, HDD MAC and MB MAC regardless of how many times the HDD is wiped. We have made it so it would be more expensive to replace all of those parts than it would be buy a new laptop. It works as we have laptops stolen all the time and find them with the help of local law enforcement.
The Caveat is that it has to be on a the internet for us to track it. So if someone wants it to just be a local word processor to print to a local printer we will never know about it.
This is just an attempt by the Red Cross to be put into Video Games in order to garner more publicity and donations. They want to be included in games to be the "Humanitarian Experience." When some kils 100+ People then the Red Cross swoops in, sets up tents and flies in much needed medical supplies. DO NOT SHOOT THEM IF THEY HAVE A RED CROSS ON THEIR TENT OR PERSON!!!!
That Game is more disturbing than Mario wearing a fashionable suit made of Raccoon... Personally I think that PETA should leave noncorporeal video game entities alone...
Since Comic Writers are not paid as well Screen Writers, they have to take commercial travel and they have to have a way to transport their work. Should he have put it in a checked bag?

Hang in there!

Bring it on!
Just my 2 cents.

Clean, direct and contemporary.
A lot of sites are missing this.
Nice job!
Maybe this will be World of Starcraft! I have long thought that it was the next evolution of that franchise.
This may be a stupid question, but...

true, and quite possibly the Iran War... :(

It seems that every version of Windows has promised a "Fast Boot-up Mode". I wonder if this one will actually deliver on its age old promise.
Soon a PC with a Quantum Processor, Holographic Memory and optical storage.

One of my favorite movies of all time! Good comparison.
