Traffic laws are not crimes
I don't need a drivers license.
I'm not driving I'm traveling.
I'm an Article 4 free inhabitant.
Where is the Corpus Delecti?
Hey, why are you breaking my window Ow, that taser really hurts
"shitty" jquery's basic implementation is actually very small... Leet frameworks like Angular, or React (with the right plugins), is where the bloat comes in
take this string, now reverse it, now convert it to pig latin, now reverse that.. How many internal threads are used to perform writes in a ConcurrentHashMap, now bark like a seal..
I'd just say, as an (in theory at least) potential employee, place it anywhere but Chicago, California or the Northeast Corridor..
It would be nice to live in a place where a 900 square foot condo doesn't cost a half million dollars.. Austin suburbs are still relatively affordable, as is Nashville, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, and pretty much any Rust belt location.
Yep, carfenanil is another order of magnitude in potency from fentanyl. At that point, you basically have a chemical weapon... It's not hard to speculate how some ISIS type person could use it as such.
Fentanly's advantage over heroin is that a dealer can make one score of a kilogram from china at a cost that is translate to pennies a dose, and basically be set for a career of dope dealing.
Not a junkie, but what I've heard from folks I know is that the fentanyl high is less euphoric than a true heroin high. Also doesn't last as long.
Not a moron.. just really, really angry and dismissive, for some inexplicable reason..
Now yes... as they say in the medical world "when you hear hoofbeats think horses, not zebras. This thing is virtually certain to be a rock.. If there was some kind of cosmic casino, I'd put the 401k on "rock" and not "spaceship"..
But you, sir, seem incredibly, fundamentally confident, of what is and is not possible from now, till the end of time, for every intelligent civilization that may or may not exist, throughout the entirety of the universe.. Just a tad presumptuous, in my very humble, obviously not as brilliant or witty as you, opinion...
but still, YOU are right, it's easy for a hairless ape to comprehend what a civilization 1000's, or perhaps millions of years ahead of us could or could not, do.
I wonder what that mold on that loaf of bread thinks about differential equations....
Perhaps. Perhaps not... Maybe this civilization takes a long view. The probe could have been sent thousands, or even millions of years ago, at some fraction of C.
Of course when you think about the fact that less than 200 years ago, if you wanted a picture of something you had to draw it, it's hard to pontificate on what a civilization tens of thousands of years ahead of us could accomplish
This is going to a morbid place, but when I was actively suicidal (depression), I amassed a "kit", it included sodium azide, the reagents to create H2S (and no I won't say what those are), and a gun.
I am feeling much better now, (for the most part, I do have swings) But I did not get rid of my "kit", my wife doesn't even know about it. It give me peace knowing I have the ability to bail out if it is necessary, but I do worry about doing it unecessarily.
Actually oil is incredibly useful, for medicines, chemicals, materials, etc... So useful we shouldn't simply burn-it, or at least strive to burn less of it.
opposite for me..
my home has appreciated in value handsomely, even counting maintenance against equity, and its affordable enough that one spouse can stay home with our two young children
looks like you can get a 3-4 bedroom house, with land, for a mortgage equal to, or even less, than what you would pay for a shit-hovel apartment in NYC or SF...
If, and of course with any new tech it's a big if.... But if this technology is commercializable it is game over for the ICE, except for niche roles.. It's exciting and I wish them the best
These people should be flogged continue on Mr President, the American people are behind you! And please do not stop tweeting, we need to hear directly from YOU and not the lying lib media!
Nor should they, IMHO
The way I see it. If a drug is really that dangerous/experimental than they folks that are desperate enough to use it are essentially doing a trial for the drug company and should get it at low or no cost
If its a new drug for a chronic condition where alternatives exist (say a new high blood pressure med for instance), than until that med completes exhaustive trials (and perhaps until it shows benefit over the dozens of cheap alternatives already on the market), insurance companies should not lend their stamp of approval.

How is this possible, I was assured that medical advancement were only possible if we put corporations in control of medicine.
