Re:What will developers and game investors think?
Yeah, take a look at these (RealPlayer, bleh) videos... this stuff was being done in 1975, and what EyeToy might do better...showing the whole image not a shadow, being a little smoother, not needing a blank background...adds that much more to the difficulty of what's being done.

Engelbart Chord Keyset
That thing looks like a beast.
This is Offtopic, but maybe someone here would know...
I've been looking to get a chord keyset similar to the 5-key style that Engelbart created. Picture. I vaguely remember seeing one or two products when i looked a few months back, but nowhere could i find a purchase link.
I guess the question is: does anyone know where i could buy a chord keyset? Maybe some uber-nerdy slashdotter has one laying around i can buy? -

All that is old will be new againIt would appear that someone at Microsoft learned how to read -- say for example: Computer Lib/Dream Machines [originally printed circa 1977 ] which describes Dynabook.
At least they're smart enough to implement it coherently unlike a dozen or so who've tried previously. It sounds like this product is about 70% of what a Dynabook is supposed to be.
