It's not just some genitalia, it's exhibitionists taking videos of themselves wanking, a porn video showing a woman having oral sex with a dog, etc. http://www.buzzfeed.com/jackstuef/inside-the-seedy-world-of-wikipedia-exhibitionism

Re:Religious extreme
The theme is: "misinterpreting religious texts isn't just for backwater hicks anymore" when Rick Santorum has no problem pretending he is a presidential front-runner while making statements about how being gay is somehow the same thing as molesting kids or animals. Thankfully, Santorum's spread was short-lived.
Do you want this guy to be president? http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/man-tattoos-leviticus-1822-that-forbids-homosexua He decided to read one part of Leviticus (or probably to have it read to him) and agreed pretty strongly with it. Too bad though, that no on read him Leviticus 19:28 before he came up with the money for the tattoo...

37 Saddest Failed Kickstarters
37 Saddest Failed Kickstarters
I've no connection with buzzfeed. I am a backer of the Pebble Watch on Kickstarter.
There are some Kickstarter horror stories, like the Hanfree iPad stand. The project raised $35K, and never delivered. My uninformed guess is that they spent too much money on research, material selection, etc. and realized they didn't have enough left to actually fill the orders they had taken. The comments on the project page are brutal.

I don't believe that Ron Paul is a racist, because he sees people as individuals and not as groups. People often bring up the newsletters (which he did not write) but you'll never hear a racist remark come out of his mouth.
22 Reasons Ron Paul Is Not A Racist
NAACP Nelson Linder speaks on Ron Paul and racism
As for policies, you aren't likely to find a person who agrees with you 100%, but it might be a good idea to take a look at a man who had foresight into the problems that we've been having.
This speech was made 10 years ago. It shows that many of Ron Paul's predictions have come true. Whatever you think of the man, I encourage you at least check this out:

We may disagree with you about social issues and government assistance, but you'd better believe we're your brothers in fucking arms when it comes to the overreach of Hollywood and big government censorship.

If he had posted that video on Facebook, it would have changed your comment to read: "26,404 likes", which tells a very different story indeed. For either a politician or a corporation (or any entity really), FB let's you control the message. The only exception is if the traffic is too high for your team of censors to keep up: http://www.buzzfeed.com/rosiegray/the-best-facebook-comments-from-the-kansas-abortio.

Re:1% vs 99%
The problem is that anyone carrying an iphone, complaining about wealth inequality, comes across as an entitled whiner. Someone will always be richer than you, get over it. It can make you look like these people.
If you're carrying an iPhone and wearing designer clothes, you're probably in the 1% of the world, basically complaining because some other 1% is richer than you. Poor baby. -
Re:Glad to hear it will be on foxOver here in the real world, Fox is the least reliable source of information available. Here is a current example based on actual collected data, reporting on the News of the World phone hacking scandal:
The study found that during the time period studied, CNN and MSNBC each devoted roughly 16 minutes per night to the topic, compared with only three minutes on Fox.
In daytime coverage, CNN spent about four minutes per hour on the scandal, while MSNBC spent about half that much time. The total at Fox was closer to 30 seconds per hour.
All three channels carried live daytime coverage of Tuesday's hearing before the British Parliament, where Murdoch and his son James appeared.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43829568/ns/business-us_business/t/truthiness-fox-going-light-scandal-coverage/ This article is on MSNBC, but the study quoted is from the Pew Media Research Center.

So "AP Poll: Economic worries pose new snags for Obama" becomes "AP: Obama Has A Big Problem with White Women". This is not news, it's organized lying.
If you think this is "Fair and Balanced" and that it's OK because they "admit their bias" then you have serious mental problems. I suspect that you should be under professional mental health care. There are many treatment options that will address your delusional thinking. Current drugs along with cognitive therapy are very effective. I urge you get evaluated, because in your current state you are a danger to yourself and others. You should not be diving or operating heavy equipment, or be allowed access to sharp objects or guns without close supervision. It would be a shame if someone got hurt because of your untreated mental illness.

Re:apparently we have to have a subject line
No, it's not really like Greece. The thing with the US laws is that the debt limit applies to PAPER currency. By issuing a coin, the govt could get around the letter of the law. Here's a link to the same idea from Buzzfeed and CNN from a few days ago. The CNN article is written by a Yale constitution-law professor.

This is an article that takes headlines produced by non-fox-news organizations and compares them to the headlines that Fox News decided to use. You can definitely see the bias in just their headlines.

Donkey Kong Country Returns
Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii is a great example of classic level design. The beginning of the game shows the opening cinematic, and after that, Donkey Kong leaves his house, and left just standing there. After a few seconds, you move the joystick after the realization that, "Oh... The game just started."
You're just thrown into the game. It guides you along the correct path, but it doesn't sit you down and teach you. You learn how to play for yourself gradually from the moment you touch the joystick.
Donkey Kong Country Returns is how games used to be. This is how they are now.

Re:Overreaction
It would be even cheaper to buy a machine to do it. It is horrible and sad when someone tries (and/or succeeds) in disrupting our travel system, so it would be nice if the system would stop attacking itself every time someone tries to do anything. It makes unsuccessful attacks into successful ones. I haven't seen such a disproportionate response since the mooninites terrorized Boston's Stupidest.
The TSA's actions tend to be similar to an autoimmune disease, overreacting to the slightest provocation with a response much more damaging than the original stimulus could have ever been.
Self-destructive overreactive "security" has replaced most concern for the actual traveler's experience. Remember the old days when they had a guard checking bag tags at the destination airport, to make sure that the customer's bag is not stolen by some random other passenger? That's no longer important enough to assign even one person at any airport I've been to lately. I miss that.
That new rule about not getting up during the last hour of a flight - that would have made it a crime to have stopped an attack, the way the guy on the christmas flight did. If he tried that today, regardless of intention, he'd be incurring a severe risk of jail for it.
Given the amount of deaths we as a society accept every day from car accidents alone, and somehow don't find to be a national emergency and stop using cars, ultimately we would all rather live with the inherent risks of flying than have the government causing scenes such as the above. If I'm taking a vehicle with wheels to and/or from the airport, that's more dangerous than the flying part anyway. It's time to acknowledge that.
