Long Pig
Human flesh tastes like pign. Search for "long pig". Also, the Mercury astronauts were, as part of their survival training, taught that the tenderest cuts are from just under the ribcage.
Complete directions for preparing long pig (warning: very "Dexter"-like)

Re:Doughnuts?
You should expand that a little bit.
Overpopulation, both of humans, and food stuff animals, are the issue.
As we farm animals, we create vast herds (flocks, whatever), in controlled environments. The total population, and local density, are much higher than would have been found in nature.
From a UN report on food, agriculture, and global warming. "[the livestock sector] responsible for 18% of greenhouse gas emissions. The production of cattle to feed and clothe humans stresses ecosystems around the world, and is assessed to be one of the top three environmental problems in the world on a local to global scale."
There are roughly 1.5 billion head of cattle in the world today. There are huge tracts of farm land dedicated to the upkeep of those cattle (grazing fields, grain for feed, etc). Natural factors (predators, limited food supplies, disease, etc) do not keep the population in check.
There are also roughly 16 billion chickens.. The same factors apply.
Vegetarians don't help much. They increase their dependance on plant crops, and reduce the need on animals slightly. I would guess to an unnoticeable degree.
These populations wouldn't be so huge, if humanity had not been limiting it's natural controlling factors (predators, food supplies, disease, etc). We've made our environments safer to live in, and have eliminated or control many diseases that would have normally thinned the population to manageable levels.
Fossil fuels play their part, but again, only because the human population is so huge. Any reliance on any resource becomes unmanageable when you have 6.7 billion humans. Even if a small percentage of them uses a harmful resource, or a clean resource in a harmful way, it has an impact on everyone.
Save the planet, kill yourself.

because it is a tradeoff
You want all the neat stuff you need to actually live in a heavy urban area delivered to you from the rural areas, plus have it cheap. Swell, this is now possible because as a nation we invested in a set of "commons", we now have decent roads everywhere, rail service, and seized property where electric transmission lines, natural gas lines and water lines exist..all to bring stuff to you in the cities, our royal "blues" bloods now by voting demographics, cheaply. So, if the rural people just want a little better internet, all of a sudden this "commons" idea gets bad? OK, maybe it is! How about you voluntarily give up all your cheap trucked in stuff and piped in stuff and go out and start contracting for your food and water and electricity, and pay transit fees and tolls, boundary line by boundary line, to each owner, to all the rural landowners to get that stuff? What do you think your urban existence would really cost then?
I'm all for it really, dump the commons, privatize everything including the roads, no more eminent domain seizure and use for the transmission towers and water pipelines, toll roads everywhere, all of that, let it simmer for a few months, just to see what is really valuable today or not. Let's rock! Bring it on, we'll see who cracks first.
Here, just to show you we rural people have some compassion for our now starving urban area "neighbors" under the "chuck you farley, we got ours now you pay up what we demand if you want anything better like normal 21st century stuff" private everything model of society and economics... you might need this http://www.churchofeuthanasia.org/e-sermons/butcher.html You need to print out a hard copy now while you can..my guess is your electricity would go to, oh..a few hundred bucks a kilowatt hour at a minimum once all our transit fees are paid to us. Maybe more..or maybe we just wouldn't care and say "no, tough luck, we don't need anything you have, including your scam fiat currency crap. We could do that, too. We got the food, water and energy, you got...consumers. That's it..you just consume what we provide, and provide cheap.
Have fun! Let's do it, the grand experiment, get this sorted out what is really worth what, once and for all. Then no more debates, we'll all know what is necessary and what isn't, who gets paid too much and who gets paid too little, and what is more important, and whether or not a "commons" is a good idea. Let's let a real free market and no more public commons *anything* sort this all out. I'm totally ready and would really like to see it. Making my bucket of popcorn right now!

Don't have a family so early
What does getting a job have to do with having kids?
I worked, went to grad school, worked, went to grad school, worked, went to grad school again (finished third graduate degree at 38 for those assholes above that think you are brain-dead at 30), and I have a career that's enjoyable and pays quite well plus I work on my terms.
The problem isn't that you got a job, the problem is that you put all this crap on your life while you were still young and it's dragging you down.
You can get a job and work a few years, figure out what to do with your career, then go to grad school, then get the career path you like in order. After that you are responsible enough to take on the spouse and kids at an appropriate age.
I'm 45 and no children. It's great. No bullshit backyard barbeques with asshole neighbors while all these little kids run around screaming, no weekends spent sitting in elementary school bleachers wishing I was somewhere else, no driving brats around from one expensive event to another that the little snots just have to go to or they'll hate me, no being constantly ill because the little germ magnets keep bringing home one strain of sickness to another home from school, or any of that other crap my sisters and cousins complain about when I go to a family event... They'll say it must be nice to work when and where I feel like it, spending half the time at my condo in the city and half in my country home, dropping everything to travel somewhere with friends if it sounds like fun - like it's some magical gift that fell on me instead of something I planned and worked hard to get.
Yeah, I've heard the line about being alone when I get old if I don't have kids and I don't buy that it makes a difference. Three of my grandparents died alone in a nursing home. I have aunts and uncles that complain that they only see their grown children once or twice a year. That fluffy feel-good junk about being surrounded by your children as you get old? That looks sweet on Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons, and maybe that happened in the old timey days, but I don't see it happening in modern times.
Sure, mod me down because you are jealous or whatever, I'll just laugh.
BTW, before judging me as completely wrong, cnn reports that vasectomies are on the rise. Also, breeders will get a rise out of my url.

Church of Euthanasia
I have a feeling I'll be burning some karma once people see the "I Like to Watch" video, but damn, it's worth it (very not safe for work, just as a warning). -
Re:Just a thought
Thank god for the baby boom- at least it blew things loose for a little while but now I fear the aging baby boom is going to get really repressive.
No, don't thank those narcissistic prigs. They are the ones who felt this lack of a *good war* for their generation and got us into the current situation: a war that makes Vietnam look like patticakes.
The boomers are the least generation. The most empowered and enfranchised in history and look what they have bequeathed us. It was Roethke said: I was never too liberal in my youth for fear of becoming too conservative in my old age. That fits the boomers to a *T*. They've been elitist prigs right down the line and the death of progressive politics.
I'm down with Valerie but I lump the granola girls in with the high-heeled boys. -
The Church of Euthanasia
What I object to is when these people make the mistake of getting pregnant without wanting to, and then guys like you start blaming it on religion. I mean, if I was going to break my religion's teachings, I wouldn't do it half-assed and get myself into trouble. Only a dimwit would say "God, I'm sorry I fucked her, but at least I didn't use a condom".
I agree.
Or at least I agree with blaming it on religion in general.
Some religions are better than others. There are a lot of decent Christian sects out there, while other "Christians" are the American version of the Talaban.
Overpopulation scares the shit out of me. That's why I think we need to allow religion in school, specifically, the The Church of Euthanasia. Kids these days need more than sex ed. They need the four pillars of Suicide, Abortion, Cannibalism, and Sodomy.
That's right Sodomy. It feels good and it's not just for homosexuals anymore!
Of course that is not going to protect you from VD, as many who receive an "abstinence only" education believe, but I say stupid kids dying of VD is a good thing.
And really, any parent who does not make sure their children have the knowledge they need to survive in this world are stupid, and again it is a good things if their kids die of VD, hopefully before they spawn any more idjets. -

Re:It's near performance already
I recommend all humans should hold their breath until they die and save the planet.
I could not agree more! Save the planet! Kill yourself!

Re:Happy 9/11 From The GNAA
Hey I thought it was funny too. You are probably already aware of them, but in case you aren't. I recommend a quick visit to Church of Euthanasia. Last I looked, the front page had some nice 9/11 commemorative artwork on display, which on this day, if you are celebrating, may add to the festivities. New York is a smelly shithole anyways. Whatever.

Suicide
If you search for suicide methods, they will bend the engine to make sure you get reasons why you shouldn't commit suicide before you get the how-to.
Yes but if you search for: suicide +"how to", the first hit comes up is: HOW TO KILL YOURSELF -
Re:FACE IT
Its our numbers, not the action that destroys our environment.
Well then, I guess this is the answer.

Why bother?
What ever happened to just not breeding?

Re:This IS old-fashioned fun...
Hey jackass, wanna save some space on the planet for the rest of us to have children or are you gonna pop out another 2 or 3?
Loser
Do yourself, your potential children and the rest of the world a favor and forego having children. If the above is typical of your attitude and outlook on life, we'll all be better off if you don't raise any children.
And, if you're really that worried about overpopulation, might I suggest you get off your butt and do something about it.

Re:We've been doing it for years...This doesn't frighten me at all. No 'soul' bullshit, because if there are souls, then it's a new one in the clone, not the same one.
Wow - someone who actually thinks along the same lines as I do...
So let's all relax and think before we cry 'OH DEAR GOD SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN'.
I'm all for growing new cell structures for people, it's reproduction through cloning which I have a problem with. Call this a troll if you like, this post isn't meant as such, but it might be a good idea to start fixing what we have now instead of growing more people to take up space.

You got the existence part quite wrongThe lives of millions and their living conditions is a lot more important than the continued existance of some obscure far away plant or animal.
BZT! Wrong answer. It's the opposite.
Humans ought to die away. The sooner the better.
______________ -
The demise of mankind is okJust be upfront with ousrselves - it should be "Save the Humans", not "Save the Plant".
For fuck's sake, why?
Repeat after me: humans are not important, the ecosystem is. The latter will win, and that's ok. In fact, we should speed the development by not breeding anymore. Or to be more extreme, hastening the end voluntarily.

Just another point of view
This is not a flamebait, just another point of view. The whole concept of overdue abortion is not so unique idea as it might sound. The only viable solution left to protect the environment seems to be getting rid of some (or most) of the undue load. That meaning humans. In contrast to the thought of euthanazing people based on disabilities, it might be more productive to do the selection based of statistics instead. Ie. 95% of the human population should be a good start, preferring citizens of highly civilized countries, as they tend to consume more (oh yes, yours truly included). Unless, of course, someone comes up with a more appropriate critearia (like, say, the use of OO-methods to recycle the code...?).
