Re:Are spawn waves gone?
From what I read, both the fights and the resource management are going to be a lot more challenging. For one, there won't be as many healing potions and mages can't just spam healing spells as they used to in DA:O. Additionally, creatures inhabit the maps. Giants roam the place and dragons guard their nests and your party can run into them quite unprepared. (Source in german: gamestar.de
Having played through DA:O without death of my character on the highest difficulty, I am looking forward to the changes

Lenman
German magazine GameStar has already reported on this, and got a comment by EA. It says:
"The rumor is not true. Dead Space is currently being checked by the USK (German ESRB). Thus it's too early to talk about a ban"

Re:But PS3 is way better
there is only one good game console: a PC
I bought a PC 11 years ago and everyonce in a while I upgrade parts of it, so it ran the newest games again...
what do you do if you have a game console? you buy complete new systems every 2-3 years and you can't do anything useful with it and don't even have a decent controller (you remember halo 1? they had to put hundreds of extra enemies in the pc version, because with the superior aiming device - the mouse - it was much too easy on pc)
now as for this "Killzone 2" statement: look for crysis - here you have some screenshots from gamestar.de http://www.gamestar.de/aktuell/screenshots/PlayerP icList.jsp?galleryId=1401 look at the one top left on the third page: http://www.gamestar.de/aktuell/screenshots/PlayerP icList.jsp?galleryId=1401&startAt=30 and say again that killzone 2 had so unbeleivably reallistic graphics that it couldn't be beaten... -

NV 40
If Linux sinks we can at least still play Rumours have it Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 may run on Linux.
nVidia NV40, coming soon, will be 6 times fast in HL2 and 4 times faster in Doom 3 than any current nVidia hardware
Let us see them run that on any SCO crap. -
Europeans have to pay considerably moreAccording to GameStar magazine, Europeans will have to pay much more than US citizens for the xbox and individual game titles (European prices: 479 Euros for the box and about 69 per game, according to this news the exact numbers), not to mention the extra 50 bucks for the DVD support.
