All your competitor needs to do is bury a jammer in the front lawn. Presto: complete network blackout. Thousands of dollars in lost productivity until someone finds out what the heck happened. Any IT admin knows that a catastrophic network failure is bad for job security.

At least in the USA, cell phone jammers are illegal. Because this paint isn't emitting signals to accomplish the same purpose, could it be legal?

I've seen a few cell phone jammers already. Check them out here. Says it can block them up to 15 meters (approximately 49 feet).

Might be enough to stop people in theatres if you're lucky. Although we all know that shotguns would really be more effective...

Looking at this site it seems they won't even sell you one in the UK:

"Note for UK customers: Cell phone jamming equipment is illegal to use in the UK as it violates sections 1 & 13 of the 1949 telegraphy act, we are therefore unable to supply cell phone jammers to any UK customer who does not hold a valid licence issued by the UK Office of Communications (Ofcom). Please note that no exceptions can be made on this policy."
