Re:Interface options
Probably just as easy, almost certainly better quality sound reproduction.
:)
well actually the cassette adapter is digital quality, as long as the metal contacts on the cassette are touching properly.
my stereo is connected to my computer and it sounds exactly the same as using a 1/8 jack connection (which broke and thats why i use this cassette adapter)
mine even has the compact disc digital audio logo on it.

Can you get them for Fraud, then?
That's the idea ;) I'm sure as soon as you mention fraud, they will be quick to get you a refund...
Where is Phillips? Do they license CDDA logo to non-RedBook CDs?
I believe they don't. That's why it would be a violation of terms.
see the following: (I can't find the one that used to be on their site...) -
CD-DA disk logo compliance?
Still an unanswered question: do these 'copy protected' CDs still conform to IEC 908 and can they be legally marked with the compact disc digital audio emblem?

Re:Label clearly, or get sued for misrepresentatioThat is a really good question (that has been asked _every_ time this issue has come up), and I would dearly love for someone to give some definitive answer.
There are 12 different logos all with different requirements for permitted use. What I don't know is if these new discs would violate _every_ one of these standards resulting in the publisher's inability to use any "compact disc" logo.

Re:Package warningsThe only logos on the outside are SunnComm & Music City Records. The black bit of packaging does have the logo "Compact Disc Digital Audio".
According to these guys, that logo implies conformance to Red Book.
