Re:What is more stupid
Jesus believed that the Old Testament was divinely inspired, the veritable Word of God. He said, "The Scripture cannot be broken" (John 10:35). He referred to Scripture as "the commandment of God" (Matthew 15:3) and as the "Word of God" (Matthew 15:6). He also indicated that it was indestructible: "Until Heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the law, until all is accomplished" (Matthew 5:18). Notice that he mentions even the words and letters!

You're asking good questions (and you have a good sense of humor). Here are a couple of links to answers about Jesus.

Re:Religion
There's an awful lot of prophecy from the Old Testament that was fulfilled. I don't know about you, but I'd trust a source that can correctly predict the future.
Read Psalm 22. Isn't it interesting how it describes so many events surrounding Jesus's execution, which was a REAL event that ACTUALLY happened some hundreds of years after it was written.
None of the other world religions make such prophecies. And they've been fulfilled time and time again.
If you'd present some "contradictions" from the Bible, maybe we could discuss them and conclude whether or not they really are contradictions.
Most of us believers HAVE questioned, and many Christians have not been raised in the faith. Many of us became Christians only after examining the evidence, and witnessing Christ's impact in our lives and the lives of others. We have thought about it, and we didn't just jump to conclusions, like you appearently have regarding us. -

Re:Jesus Christ!
Next time try saying "Buddha" or "Mohammed" or "Bab" or "Confucius". See if you get the same feel of force behind them. Bet you won't - all their bodies are still decaying. Only the Lord Jesus Christ is risen from the dead; only His atoning sacrifice paid for our sins. Only cursing using His name is blasphemous.
Once you realize that His name is more powerful and somehow different than any other so-called deity, check out the four spiritual laws and I pray it will make sense to you and bring you to a full understanding. -

Re:Anyone actually use Darwin?
You are making a conclusion based solely on your own opinion, then calling it "reason to believe". Not one fact in the Bible has ever been disproven, yet many archaeologists have come to shame for attempting to disprove the Bible and have wound up becoming Chrisitians as the realize where the error was.
The Lord Jesus Christ came to die for you and all of us - all us miserable sinners. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God; we all need redemption since there is nothing we can do to earn our way into heaven. Only by accepting the free gift of grace from God, by believing in his son Jesus Christ, can we be forgiven.

Re:People of faith in Free Software
You don't want people to equate judaism and christianity; Bible-believing Christians would prefer you don't equate Catholics with Christians. The Vatican dislikes both Jews and Bible-believing Christians. Islam hates all three (infidels is their term for us all). Catholics used the sword, not as much as the moslems, but they used it. Catholics pray to idols, as do moslems (ask about the rock in Mecca they have to circle). Jews and Bible believing Christians do neither.
And realize that Christians want to have you convert out of love; we have found "the way, the truth, and the life" and want to make sure everyone has a chance to accept it. But it is certainly your choice and no genuine Bible believing Christian should ever go beyond that.
And just FYI, buddhists do pray to idols, check out the description of the altar. -
Re:leader to 2 billion people
Mankind is inherently sinful - so yes awful things are done by all people, Christians are not exempt.
After all, who taught you to lie? Didn't need instruction, did you. We all need help, we all need the Lord to provide us with a way out. See here for a better explanation than I can give.
