    As with any information system you get as much out as you put in! Besides I can have ebooks, games etc anywhere without the bulk of a laptop. I don't like the trend towards phones though. The great thing about Palms were they were cheap cutting edge pocket computers at only £200ukp or so. These days the prices are reaching those of laptops. Not good.

    Well I have helped out a former employer once or twice. Why? I knew if I didn't I would be putting a fellow programmer in an awkward position of a Boss wanting something VAGUE and NOW. Having been there several times myself ,I do what I can but stop short of exploitation!!

    Palm has a good C compiler on-board in the form of PocketC from Orbworks, used with Mathlib it is quite powerful. Easy to learn and lots of features.

    MSDN had this a couple of days ago - that is the technical details of what you can do. Basically it let you sets the default browser, media player etc for XP.
    Actually it is not much new but will help MS disarm critics.

    Actually more water != higher sea level - there are some other factors.
    Ocean Bed Compaction due to increased water mass may compensate, Gravitational influences... this is just from memory so there are bound to be more.
    That said, the sea being in your living room is a problem whatever the cause. I better learn to swim.

    I love mozilla and use the nightlies on Win and Linux. However there is still a problem which will put web developers off using/supporting it - TABLES.

    Getting tables looking good in Mozilla and IE is not impossible. It is just more difficult than it needs to be. For example, the use of the background colour is different and (correct me if I am wrong) this is not in the W3 standard.

    Anyway - Netscape 7 will ROCK!

    Actually, the Catholic Church does not teach Creationism. The current Pope refered to evolution as "more than a theory" relatively recently.

    Personally I think the theory is okay but still needs to find a lot of answers to questions.

    Okay a bug has an adaptable plan for growing a number of legs. Where did that plan come from?
