StepMania
You could try to leverage some of that Christian music into a video game. Grab StepMania and make some simfiles with music by ZOEgirl and other popular Christian artists.

It turns out that "Orizont" is just Romanian for "Big Bertha".

Re:fuel? Its also the propellant in torpedoes (suspected in the Kursk tradgedy) and the jetpack and some rocket cars.
Since the decomposing perxoide produced water and O2, Armadillo is adding methanol (alcohol, commonly used for racing fuel, M85, gasahol etc) to make use of this free oxygen for extra thrust. The temp reched from the decomposing peroxide can get hot enough to ignite the Methanol (and its decomposition by-product of methane gas), although to speed the warmup they are also using a sparkplug to ignite it, and structures in the engine to keep this combustion inside the chamber against its tendancy to flush out with the passing steam. Since its mixed in with the peroxide prior to loading, its considered a mixed-monoprop.

Easy to program languages for your motherCheck out this Hypercard at Wikipedia and see if you can find a Hypercard clone that works for her.
COBOL is so easy, business types can learn it. Check out these freebie COBOL languages.
Pascal is one of the easiest languages to learn, they used to teach it in high school. Lazarus has a good IDE to help with development. Also Delphi has a free demo to download and try out.
Also consider Lingo.
If she still cannot program in those, give up. They are about the easiest there is to learn. Not everyone can learn how to program. Instead teach her how to draw pictures in TuxPaint and if she fails to learn that one, take away her Internet privliges.

Norton Commander or Xtree...
The first version of Microsoft Windows I used was 2.1; It was much like the program launching program, Norton Commander or Xtree Pro.
If you need some Windows 2.1 tech support, check out Juvio!!

Re:Also @ Cosmo GamesOK, so that one by Masamune Shiro (Ghost in the Shell) looks pretty cool, especially the white version... but the other one is nothing special.
I bet both are about as useful as my Darth Vader helmet mouse. I think it inflicted some kind of permanent injury on me when I used for a few days after leaving my IntelliMouse Explorer at a LAN party.

Re:povray's still the best
Sure, PovRay is a great raytracer, but that is only a portion of the creative process.
Somebody interested in creating 3D images also needs to be able to model and animate the scene, and PovRay is mostly unsuitable for those things, except maybe for simple objects and a very small handful of people that spend an amazingly disproportionate amount of time at it. The guy who created the scenes in your link used multiple tools (some non-free) for modeling objects, and also borrows many of his objects from other people.
PovRay by itself puts a very low ceiling on creativity, even for the intelligent and technically inclined; you really need a good all-around 3D modeling/rendering/animation package. It's unfortunate that the programs that are any good are so expensive.
When you can model this kind of stuff in PovRay let me know!

"No chance of a catastrophic explosion?"
I am using 90% H2o2 because using it as a monopropellant is the safest method of propulsion for my particular rocket. There is no chance of a catastrophic explosion or fire. This alone eliminates about one half of all standard problems that are encountered for any rocket flight.
I missed the solicitation of questions the first time around, but because I *am* a rocket scientist, and just in case Rocket Guy is reading, I beg him to be careful. The leading theory on what caused the explosion of the Kursk is the H2O2 propellant in a torpedo (NOT a warhead!)

Re:New news - for 1990.....more like '85
Advertising in games has been going on since the days of the Spectrum and C64.
Action Biker was basically a big advert for KP Skips
Mr Wimpy...One big advert for Wimpy restaurants (Like McDonalds but served on plates) -
