I'm using Win XP with the Windows Classic theme (rather than XP one), and Firefox 1.5 looks as beautiful as ever, but Firefox 2b2 looks horrible. It looks good on the XP theme, but a *lot* of work should be done for the classic one.

So you think 5 "value packs" are confusing and you want to push a model with thousands of combinatios of options? You could not just give a flat rate for 5, 10, 15, 20 a la carte channels becasue some channels cost more. At best each channels would have a different price tier based on how many total channels you have (>5, >10, >15 etc.) like this (in $'s), not counting home shopping etc.

Nope, it is no longer true, at least with Opera 9. I actually just downloaded it and tried to respond to another comment. I left the user agent string as the default, which should be Opera, and this is what I got with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

You, put simply, are talking out of your ass. You DO NOT get the Basic HTML version of Gmail when using Opera. You get the full Gmail experience, with the exclusion of Rich Text Editing. You still get the rest of the fancy Gmail interface, which is not present in the Basic HTML version. You still can expand and collapse messages without reloading the page, switch into settings without reloading the page, etc etc. I just downloaded and installed Opera to test this, and there is even a link at the bottom for manually switching to Basic HTML mode. What version of Opera are you using exactly? And last but not least, can I have some of what you are smoking?

Here's a picture of the box a mousepad I bought recently came in. The mousepad is about 25x20x1cm, the box 70x50x20cm (conversion to inches is left as an excercise to the reader). But what made me really laugh is the fact that they apparently couldn't fit in the other item of the order, a Logitech V270. So they sent it in a second box. No wonder they charge $10 for shipping...
