They banned 10-round magazines for a while federally, and in a few states (california in particular) possession of a magazine with more than 10 rounds is now a misdemeanor. This means that if you live in california and owned a magazine with more than 10 rounds of capacity (the vast majority of magazine fed handguns hold more than 10 rounds) you must now dispose of legally owned property and replace it with 10 round magazines.

I get it, you're an idiot that can't be bothered to think critically, let alone even try refuting my points (all of which I can record video evidence of and shove right in your ignorant face) so all you can do is try to insult.

Well, while you think I'm stuck in the past - I own four of these.

I know what technology is worth purchasing and using. Smartphones are not one of those technologies. They've been nothing much more than a marketing gimmick, a dangerous distraction for those on the road, and a means for ever-increasing privacy invasion. Base fucking line price for a phone now days without contract runs you almost $500. I can get portable computer hardware ten times as powerful for the same price that actually performs multitasking.

Let's put down an example, starting with iOs. I used to do some side courier stuff for a university. I log into a webpage on an iPhone, find my order, load it up, then I tell Apple Maps to direct me to the address. Okay, now that I'm there, I go back to the webpage, only to find out that fucking Safari INSISTS on reloading the page. Except now I'm in an area where there's NO CELLULAR SIGNAL and thus I obviously can't refresh the page, which has gone blank because Apple is too fucking stupid to have any sort of intelligent swapfile. Now I can't get my order back up on the fucking screen and I have to step outside to get a signal and bring the order page back up.

ABSOLUTELY FUCKING USELESS. Meanwhile, I can do the same thing with a laptop, and I NEVER have to worry about losing the webpage when I go look at another program. And I haven't SINCE THE DAYS OF THE PENTIUM 2.

Smartphones are poorly-designed, loaded with gimmicks, and for the price you pay, you get absolutely shit performance and usability in comparison to any other piece of real computer hardware near the same price.

I agree, my Nexus 5 is awesome. I reboot it maybe every 30 days. My Nexus 4 was great as well. If you like Android, I'd highly recommend a Nexus 5.

If you're too technically inept to build a system that can do it all including acting as a managed switch and firewall, you probably should drop out because you've been left behind.

I mean, I've no love for SJW-type whining identity politics (which is sadly what much of progressive politics has turned into), but what exactly are the stakes in the Gamergate debacle? Are gamers particularly worried that the industry is going to stop including sexy women and cliched plots to sell games? Because that's fucking stupid. The gaming industry will do that maybe 20 years after Hollywood stops.

Gamergate is just one front in a very large cultural war. It's most distinguished by being the place the SJWs hit the most resistance. Comics have gone over. SF&F has gone over, except Baen and a few small publishers. Tech as a whole is fighting a losing battle of attrition. Linux is holding out, but probably only as long as Linus himself stays in it.

I don't think that's full zoom level - your plus sign isn't greyed out (I don't think double-clicking always takes you right down).

Regardless, the actual resolution still looks fairly comparable in those images (the old map image isn't exactly pin-sharp), and after a bit of wandering around Milwaukee and Oshkosh, I'd say new maps does have it slightly better overall. Also, as previously mentioned, lower res newer imagery might take priority over higher res older imagery unless the difference in quality is huge.

While it's not the 45 degree option you're looking for, there is a "tilt" icon at the bottom right, or you can shift-drag and get any angle to change the viewpoint to anywhere - arguably better for being able to grasp the 3D shape of a building/location than jumping around 4 fixed angles, taken with such a long lens that there's a confusing lack of perspective. There's also none of the distorted stitching you can see a lot of in the 45 degree views.

For an example, I'd say the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center looks better in the new maps, whether it's top-down view or at an angle. Certainly for the bits that matter, anyway - if you're a AC ducting fetishist you might prefer the old maps ;)

Couldn't see a way to disable 3D on the new maps, though, which would have made for a better comparison.

When keepers at a zoo decided they wanted to spy on their chimpanzees with a drone, there was one resourceful ape who decided he wasn't going to put up with any monkeying around.
