  4. The designer is a better human than me - I'd be inclined to use multiple spray to make the area when the box gets opened unlivable.
    Pepper sprays/gels, mace (still available?), whatever, one in each corner.

    Well, yeah. The 30% number insures that you would have to have a finite and probably much smaller catalog in europe than the US.

    Just a heads-up : that's been the case for as long as Netflix et al existed - their catalogue in the EU is tiny compared to what's available in the US.

    I've been using Energy Saving Bulbs (various sorts) since late 90s, and not had to replace any - I'd suspect you have an electrical issue (brownouts and the like), and might want to have a word with your supplier.

    Dunno where you are, but I have noticed that in the US there's fewer saunas around in hotels etc, and they for some reason are freakin' cold.
    Meanwhile, Northern Europe they are everywhere alongside IR saunas and/or roman baths, with a few countries also having them in many homes.

    Heck, you can get portable saunas...

    When I was in Automotive, convincing US manufacturers that JIT/JIS was the way to go was neigh impossible.
    Pretty much the whole world uses it, but I can think of only a few places in the US who went to a full JIT (let alone JIS) setup.

  20. The second is a fundamental unit, so there are lots of other units which depend upon it's value. Change that and you've changed the value of the Hz, erg, amp,etc.. According to Wikipedia of the 22 names derived units only 3 do not depend on the second.

    We do a monthly "Upcoming Games" segment - due to Nintendo's antics, have asked the hosts to NOT cover their games since it'll get us hit with (C) claims the moment we include any footage.

    Just tried using them (trip in August).
    Reading their rules and regs, saw various potential options for hosts to scam guests.
    Booked trip, host immediately tried to change price etc (city pretty booked due to intl event, easy scam).
    I refused, told the host to cancel so I'm not stuck with fees etc.
    Host refuses to cancel, since then he's not paid anything.
    AirBnB? They are not picking up, no matter how I'm trying to contact them. Only option is to do a chargeback on the CC used for the original booking, which jeopardizes my replacement booking.

    Lesson: Stay the fsck away from AirBnB
