You literally have to remove a window update to get rid of it - I love how the update when you install it gave you no indication what it actually was going to do. I seriously hate how updates work with windows. I look forward to the hundreds of stories on how no one wants to move off windows 7, and how windows 7 is still present in huge numbers in the year 2025. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't realize that I don't want my desktop to look and operate like my phone.

An "employment contract" that forces people to show up at work and actually do work against their wishes(under threat of arrest, criminal charges or physical punishment) is what slavery is. Q1 Agreed?

Second, you do understand that top level executives often sign contracts which companies can dictate terms like term of employment. Did MS even have an option to not let him go? You bring up non-compete, but they're not enforceable in many states. Also, note how news on Tuesday that Microsoft has sold 40M Windows 8 licenses so far completely missed Slashdot's front page... only to be briefly mentioned two days later in the NPD story summary. But when there was a rumor that Windows 8 sales were below expectations, there it was hanging on the front page.

It is great that the surface has a micro-sd card, but it suffers the same issues that the android platform has, which is that you can NOT install apps on the micro-sd card. For comparison, both IOS 6 and Jelly Bean are around 2gb in size.
