I have heard reports that the shooter's livejournal page is here.

NBC5 quotes a Chicago Sun-Times columnist Michael Sneed as saying the shooter was a 24 year old male student on a student visa from China.

Plus the livejournal I point to above is all about guns, killing, shooting, depression, etc... so it is a pretty decent first guess as to who the shooter might me?

As a Canadian, I must take this opportunity to poke, rib--jab, if you will--at my neighbours in the South who have to pay taxes on gifts and lottery winnings. You guys call us heavily taxed!

Don't tell me that these gadgets will never be abused. An instrument that causes intense pain but doesn't leave a mark on the victim? How will we know that it won't be abused by the police when we know what they do with their other 'non-lethal' gadgets?

I remember cases where organizations would do massive book buys to support a politician or does he really do that much business with individuals?

Nbc 5 has some nice pictures of the meteor. The slideshow is really cool. Spaceweather.com also has some more information concerning it.

I was one of the people that felt and heard the sonic boom it created, my sister witnessed it in the sky.
