    No seriously though it is pretty much a waste of time asking them because after you ask them they will start quizzing you on why it was a stupid thing to do. This is when all logic is tossed out the window.

    Besides, if we made them see their errors... who would we have to laugh at? :)

    So you are one of the people trying to cram unnecessary products down the throats of "consumers", probably spamming all of us like crazy as well. "Hey guys, I have an ultra-original idea... lets send e-mail with "Hi, I like be your friend!" in the subject line and advertise viagra in the message body!!!" capitalism indeed.

    And to top it off, that is a ROYALTY FREE image. After all, a small struggling legitimate business such as Microsoft can't afford all those expensive images that aren't public domain.

    This may be an easter egg in the US model, and I am very happy to hear that it is still possible even though BMW supposedly got rid of it in the US model. It is called "launch control" and is a feature of the SMGII transmission which is a $2500 option on the M3 starting in 2002. Basically what was said in the first article I read about it was that US drivers were too dumb to have it (and this is a very true statement). On another note, I think BMW just sold another car because of this "easter egg" - the fact that I couldn't have launch control was a main factor in me not purchasing the car when I first heard about SMGII. Very cool stuff.

    Would not the first logical step be to transfer your data to a more stable media type such as DVD or CD? If kept in a fireproof safe, it isn't likely that the data will dissapear before there is a newer, even more stable media type to transfer it to.

    Will it be illegal not answering the door to my house when someone is trying to sell me their religion? Will it be illegal not answering the phone when caller ID shows an advertising firm because in blocking the call with my mind, I would be committing a "thought crime" against advertisers?
