Don't forget Hacking
3. Block Hacking sites (possibly a subclass of dangerous information)
HackCanada, Nettwerked and RantRadio would be some of the first to go. Way too much politically incorrect information :(

It gets worse.
Telus not only has denied access to a website for it's ISP customers, but their employees have been denied TOTAL internet access. It gets worse then that even, some employees have even had their phone lines rendered unusable through double trunking. They run a monopoly in most areas of Alberta as far as highspeed internet providers go and a full monopoly as far as POTS copper providers in western Canada go. There is NO other choice unless you go VoIP and Shaw/Interbaun for your internet connection (At least in Alberta, and only in major areas.)

Re:works great for honest spammers
Hopefully your auto-reply software is configured to realize "Hey, I just sent an auto-reply to the email address that sent me an auto-reply
... let's not bother them a second time." See here and here and here.
I would hope that this service from IBM would also be configured by default in such a way that it avoids the infinite-challenge-loop (and is hard to configure to set up such a loop.) -
Re:Tech Headlines You WILL Read in 2005
Linux is already on millions of desktops, just waiting to be taken advantage of.

Re:Old news
For the record, I actually kept the damned wireless AP off entirely until I figured out it was running Linux. Now I have it on, and MAC filtering in place. Haven't set up WEP yet, mainly because I'm in an out of the way area and I'd notice anyone with a laptop or PDA around in range -- and they'd be frozen stiff standing out there in below zero weather, especially with the winds we've been having lately...

Useful hints for dealing with RSI/Carpal TunnelFrom K-1ine #39
You may not feel the pain/strain as your mind is inundated by other, more important datum. Here is a url with simple pictures and descriptions of some integral stretches to prevent RSI and prolong comfort; http://web.mit.edu/atic/www/rsi/RSIMIT/exercise.h
t ml.This is from my own home page:
People who do not have carpal tunnel can get an incredible amount of help out of work with a physical therapist with experience dealing with RSI/CTS supervised by a doctor. Get a medical diagnosis first, preferably involving an electromyogram which can determine definitively whether or not the median nerve is really compressed or not. I had tendinitis a few years ago which was originally diagnosed as CTS, I considered this a wakeup call.
And if you've really screwed the pooch and the doctor is recommending carpal tunnel release surgery, be warned, I've met more than one person who's tried carpal tunnel release... and is not happy with the results, anyone contemplating that procedure should probably check into the balloon release described below first.
"Sunday February 25, 1996 Balloon catheter relieves pressure on median nerve in carpal tunnel"
"A new procedure to alleviate carpal tunnel syndrome uses a balloon catheter to stretch and expand the ligament and relieve pressure on the median nerve in the carpal tunnel of the wrist. This avoids cutting the ligament when conventional therapy is not effective."
"According to a study of 120 patients treated with the new procedure during the past four years, 85 percent had marked clinical improvement in relief of wrist pain and numbness, and 95 percent reported overall satisfaction with the outcome."
American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons web site carpal balloon release info.

Haha, I do that in Canada
I do something similar to Spammers that have a contact form on their web site.
Proof of concept code contained within.
