Homeopathy began in the 1720s upon the accidental discovery that milkmaids who get cowpox on their hands never get smallpox. The Homeopathic school assumed this met their criteria for "like protects against like" and from the homeopathic school we got immunization technology in 1720. Saucy wenches too. Woohoo.

Of The things that came from the school of homeopathy unacknowledged are digitalis, opium and more. Dr. Harris coulter MD writes:

These then are homeopathic medicines that quietly got snookerd into "mainstream medicine" that then attacked the school they came from. As the first post said it's political not scientific.

That crap about the magic water and sugar pills, that came out of a crazy guy in france in the 1960s and is nothing to do with it really. Ignore that.

Curiously too the "like works on like" idea is what saved us from ebola but in a post-Pauling world we know it was because a specific molecule disrupted the life cycle of the virus. Two different ways of saying the same thing it turns out. The molecule in question is in the African version o the virus but not the non-pathogenic Asian("Reston") strain. Actually there's 12 of them but never mind that.

So vaccines are homeopathic for one thing. And you want all homeopathic remedies banned? Ok, so digitals and ergot, you meant them right, and you want to ban vaccines? Why? Some of them actually work. Christ, not the flu shot though, that seems to have got stuck in reverse and now it adds to not subtracts from the death rate in seniors. There's a reason there's no HIV vaccine and it's the same reason there never will nor can be an EBOV vaccine - Coxsackie viruses are different and if you ignore their RNA encoding and subsequent biochemical expression you're gonna have a really bad day. There's no need to mess around with blood, honest and antibodies are not the reason it works - what do antibodies need to do their job - think!. Look at recent work in the field, Google (scholar) "selenium" with words like "hiv", "ebola", "cancer" and pay attention to the work of the last 4-5 years and especially THAT 1995 Zaire paper - the only time Pauling ever posted to the net. Actually the lethal strains of EBOV are a mutation of the Asian strain we know as "Reston" which is harmless. It does not encode for selenium.

There can be no working vaccine; you can induce production of antibodies, but absent sufficient serum selenium the immune system cannot out-compete the virus foe the precursors for GPx3 and the it all goes downhill from there. Gerry Potter's research led to what he calls "pro-drug paradigm" that is it's not a drug, it's turned into a drug by something, then becomes active.

I met one of this guys friends in Starbucks once and we became good friends and he explained a bunch of this stuff to me. Here's the short version:

The Cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP1B1 [1] only occurs in cancer cells [2][3]. When certain phytoallexins such as resveratrol and salvestrol are ingested these phytoalexins are converted by the P450 enzyme into piceatannol [4], which is fatal to cancer cells but not human cells [5][6].

If you poke around you can find cliical repoets online. All people seem to get better and this stuff has been around since 2007.

So, I think they're on to something here... and it may be a a way to Patent Potter's second discovery (based on CYP1B1) which is not patentable. His first discovery based on CYP17 was patentable and sold for two billion untested.

I've already been in a 3rd world situation where people look like over made actors in a sci fi movie with lots and lots of big pustules...and IV vitamin C worked well from the first infusion crusting over in ~8 hours vs 8 more days, over it in several days, so don't yak at me about iffy imagination stuff. Why don't you read it and see it it makes any more sense than what you supplied as a counter argument. Here's the first chapter of the executive summary which is a few pages long.

Foster was a medical geostatistician, who looked for basal cause of somatic illnesses by looking at what minerals were high or low and did that correlate with high or low incicence of disease there.

He noticed, for example, that senegal high very high selenium in the soil, and despite having the same sexual practices as the rest of sub saharan Africa, they had an HIV/AIDS rate about the same as the US, that is substantially lower. This led to a treatment for aids that reversed the disease. The various papers describing the biochem are online as are the progress reports at a clinic in Uganda where they've been successfuly using the treatment.

The orthomolecular biochemists

This word doesn't mean anything in scientific circles. "Orthomolecular" is a relatively new fad term for holistic nutrition/medicine. Examine here for an example.

There is a unified theory of cancer, it primarily states that living things get cancer in the same way that iron rusts. It is inevitable, as a consequence of the fundamental properties of the system in question. It is not "reversible", a nonsense term in the biological context, and every specific cancer will require a different specific treatment.

Salvesterols

Google "salvesterols", 256 hits. Google "salvestrols", 35400 hits. Neither term is used in chemical/biochemical/molbio literature. The basic concept is that all "diseased cells" have specific enzymes which will convert specific plant-derived salvestrols into poisons, thus killing the bad cells. Evolutionarily, there is no way this would be maintained. The first mutant cell lacking this special enzyme would proliferate and the salvestrol would be of no use. There isn't a "CYPB1P1 pathway". CYPB1P1 is an enzyme involved in the oxidative breakdown of a variety of substrates. These enzymes are often used by animals to detoxify minor toxins from food. In the case of Aflotoxin poisoning, these enzymes are responsible for the production of potentially fatal liver damage by modifying the initially neutral compound into a potent mutagen/carcinogen/toxin.

picotannins

The word "picotannins" doesn't exist in the chemical/biological literature, or on the web according to Google. Perhaps you meant tannings at low ("pico") levels? Tannins are plant compoinds and are not synthesized by any known animal metabolic pathways. At low levels, some tannins may have benificial effects on diet. In larger ammounts, they tend to be poisonous to animals not specialized in consuming them. Specialized animals tend to have enzymes in their saliva to bind and inactivate tannins before they can be absorved in the gut.

Not also that the mechanism by which cancer transports glucose into the cell also transports ascorbic acid the same way. Linus Pauling reversed cancer in some poeple with huge doses of C (~ 60-100G/day) given intravenously. Big pharma spent millions "proving" he was a quack and discredited him the same way they did to Abram Hoffer - yet these guys cured thousand of poeple from various disorders just by giving the right molucules in the right doses.
