Re:To hear many foreigners talk about US beer
I think it's currently done by Pabst. Still tastes the same. Wow. Looking at that list: Pabst, Blatz, Schlitz, Stroh's, Old Milwaukee. Oooh... Schaefer Beer. Wow. Pabst is like liquid punk rock. Now if they would pick up Huber...
Oh wow... champale.
And can't forget... Colt 45. -
Re:To hear many foreigners talk about US beer
Colt 45 is malt liquor.

Re:Interesting....Back when I was in college (mid 1980's), we could get a six-pack of Schaefer for under $2.
There were even better deals to be had in those days. Carling's Black Label returnable longnecks were usually available on sale for $4.99 for a case of 24. And it tasted marginally better than Schaefer, IMHO. (Rhinelander was often available for $3.99/24pk, but it was undrinkable by any standards.)
It's kind of odd how almost every single one of the dozens of cheap brands I remember from my school days have been absorbed into the Pabst Brewing Company borg.

Re:Thanks
What, do you think that no one in the American South has a refrigerator? Furthermore, 32 degrees Farenheit is a significant number down there, because they know that you can chill PBR below the freezing point of water without freezing it, making the setting of temperatures on your beer fridge an important skill.

Re:Most of your freshman year?
But in baltimore they go for the Natty Boh. I don't even like cheap bear anymore, but I miss the Boh.
It's actuall made by Pabst now. I wonder if I can get it when I move to texas.
