Re:What lickers?
They're referring to this vacuous whore who the dribbling idiots at IGN have just hired as a writer. It's got nothing to do with the fact that they're a bunch of losers and the only way they can get a girl to be near them is to pay them of course... And unless those inbred idiots at IGN are mis-shapen enough to look like PSPs they probably won't get licked by her anyway.

Re:Nintendo, like Apple is NOT dying
Was a complete and utter failure? While it didn't sell out in the first 10 minutes, it still sold quite respectably. 150 million dollars in sales in the first weeks is not a failure. It hit the 500,000 mark in 2 days, which is a bit ahead of the GBA and DS's launch week to hit that mark.
Plus, it's already engendering certain emotions not otherwise seen in the gaming community. (not since Rez, anyway). Of course, GGA has a good writeup. Anything that can make gaming not dorky is a success in my book, independent of sales.
I don't own a PSP and I don't plan to any time soon. But the system has quickly grabbed a respectable user base, and become a real part of the gaming landscape. They're giving the big N at least a run for their money, and they have a real chance at grabbing the pocket-sized crown. Kudos to Sony for doing what Sega, NEC, Tiger, Bandai, SNK Playmore, and Atari couldn't. -

We just ran an editoral on that ourselves over at . The writer argues game reviews should be more consumer-centric.

Not everyone is happy with Nintendo, funny stuff!
Sounds like Nintendo has their priorities and it doesn't include newspapers.

Wrong price
The Associated Press says the device will sell for 19,800 yen or $186 U.S. and frankly, I think they are more reliable. It also makes more sense because it makes it just a tad more expensive than the DS.

Thanks to....?

Another review
Actually, the game was released Tuesday in the U.S., timed with the release of the DVD trilogy set. RedAssedBaboon also has a review up of the game. It got a 91.

Doom 3 more experience than game
The RedAssedBaboon review of the game likens Doom 3 to a "virtual haunted house" and says it is more experience than game. It's pretty interesting.

Embedded reporters
RedAssedBaboon has an interesting article talking about how they plan to embed reporters in MMOGs including City of Heroes. I think it's a great idea.
