Can't you guys find another source besides Joystiq, like every other story you post is from them. Why do I brother coming here when I can go straight to the source? Try loking around for other sources for a change.
Red Octane sent me their pad to help me write the story for the Rocky and I really like it. The insert gives it a very nice feel and it seems to always trigger correctly. My pad seemed to move about a tad, despite the rubber backing, but that's probably because I'm such a spaz.
I didn't get a chance to play with the Kilowatt, but it looks and sounds fantastic. I think it may become the first true blending of excercise equipment and gaming to hit the market. It's built like a high quality piece of equipment, so it costs quite a bundle.
I've got a lot more about it in the article, the technology is pretty fascinating.
The Associated Press says the device will sell for 19,800 yen or $186 U.S. and frankly, I think they are more reliable. It also makes more sense because it makes it just a tad more expensive than the DS.
They are no more trying to steal the market than Sony did with their PS and PS2.
They're all companies, so why don't we stop the corporate bashing. It's not like Sony is a tiny home run business. If anything Nintendo is the only thing that can even slightly boast coming from a family business.
Check out the RedAssedBaboon article which includes a link to a 2003 Wired article where they matter of factly state that the Xbox 2 will use Virtual PC technology to allow it to be backwards compatible with the Xbox.
I wonder if Advergaming and advertising in games are going to merge.
Sky Captain the movie has a game out, but apparently it sucks. The questions is, can a bad advergame detract from product it is advertising?
I think what we are talking about here is propaganda.

Quotes an MIT professor he spells it out.
The writer has a blog up where the Sociolotron and UO folks are posting about the differences between the game.
I think it's pretty cool that Sociolotron has introduced that level of realism to the game and that even though people can have hardcore sex in the game, that's not really what their players are into.

We just ran an editoral on that ourselves over at . The writer argues game reviews should be more consumer-centric.

Don't blame me, I submitted the headline as: ESPN sidelines Madden, NHL

RedAssedBaboon has an interesting article talking about how they plan to embed reporters in MMOGs including City of Heroes. I think it's a great idea.
