Having read it... That's... an interesting interpretation of events. You'll note the complete lack of evidence in it? That's important.

Basically, Leah Rowe had a fit because the FSF parted ways with a transgendered employee.

Leah makes the unfounded claim that the FSF did this because the person has a mental illness (gender dysphoria / gender identity disorder), because someone wrote criticism of said person with mental illness which looked bad on the FSF, etc. She provides no evidence of these VERY specific claims.

The FSF make a statement on 9/16 pointing out that they have a strong anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies, as well as a so called "safe space policy" at FSF events. In other words, they have already capitulated to all the standard Regressive Leftist demands. They deny the accusation and say the person with mental illness was terminated for other reasons.

Leah specifically follows up this claim here, changing her claim to a different claim that two FSF employees were "transphobic" and "bullying" this mentally ill developer. She namedrops these two people, but refuses to namedrop the supposed victim, believing they deserve protection from any criticism or questioning of these claims. Note that this apparently does not apply to the two men she is accusing without any form of evidence of unprofessional and possibly illegal behavior.

It's important to note that libreroot is a fork of Coreboot and being part of the GNU project means it was posted under an open source license. Which means someone could easily fork it again and put it BACK in the GNU project. Of course, proving she doesn't understand the first thing about open source, she specifically wants people NOT to do that. I suggest the name cisLibreBoot, because it seems the most amusing name possible.

you may not notice your room heating because it's not a perfectly enclosed system. it has substantial losses to the surrounding house via convection.

the earth in contrast is much closer to the ideal enclosed system for the same reason that heat sinks don't work very well in space: no convection.

This ignores the fact that it is a *wall* of air with literally miles and miles (i.e. tons and tons) of air behind it. If the air isn't traveling at 600+MPH, it will be relatively incompressible. If it *is* traveling at 600+ MPH and the car traveling at around the same speed, it will be somewhat compressible but I suspect the deceleration forces would still be extreme.

Correct. GamerGate started with calling out Nathan Grayson and later Kotaku for defending him, but it later descended into a surreal disinformation campaign when the "progressive" games media like Kotaku baited the Social Justice hashtagtivists into a frenzy with some ridiculous harassment conspiracy. From then on, everyone rode the confirmation bias train right to this day.

All the outrage is simply the result of a few disingenuous people abusing the goodwill people have towards liberal values and the opinion innerta about sexism which hasn't caught up with the 21st century. What actually happened was that one feminist editor Ryulong was banned after he was caught begging for money from the activist group GamerGhazi which was formed by Reddit's SRS clique to suppress the spread of information about Gamergate. They were still going to let him off the hook but Ryulong acted like a total ass on the last few days of the arbitration case so one or two of the votes flipped.

Some people still mistakenly think that the adults will take charge if you stay calm and reasonable and don't break the rules. That has been tried and results in a quick and permanent ban. Explaining your own position is "soapboxing" and "beating a dead horse" and is grounds for a ban. Having strong sources to support your position makes you a "POV-pusher" who is "not here to build the encyclopedia", which justifies a permanent ban. Presenting evidence of rulebreaking by the admins is "trolling" and "sockpuppetry" and merits an instant ban, and they are likely to remove your comments and insult you on the way out. If you try to appeal your ban on the grounds that you never broke any policy, your appeal will be rejected and you are likely to have your talk page access revoked. You are required to confess to sins you have not committed and proclaim that the admins are correct in policy when they are not. The place is run by completely irrational people who belong in an insane asylum.

I can go over DKIM cryptography if you want or pull the keys for you directly from the relevant DNS servers (they're still there... for now).
