Re:definition of terms first
You might want to check your assumptions
Here is Mussolini's Doctrine of Fascism
http://www.worldfuturefund.org...Here is Leninism excerpted
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...You also might want to ask on an operational level how were they different ?

Re:Ajit Pai Must Go!
Fascism is a corporate-backed response to marxism. Instead of the state controlling corporations (communism), the state is controlled by the corporations. Its why guys like Henry Ford (of Ford Motor Co) loved fascism.
Mussolini himself said "Fascism is therefore opposed to Socialism"
And in case you forgot, Neimoller's famous poem, the first line was:
First they came for the socialists

We've been over this, people
It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried.
-- Sir Winston Churchill
We've been over this, people. Democracy works. Look at the goddamn computer you're on right now. A freaking miracle it is. And yet, you FUCKHEADS want to throw it all away. Represetantive government, the greatest achievement of the West, in the garbage can. Who will rule instead? The Council of Alphas? The smartest in society? It's been tried. It didn't work. See: Communism. No, seriously. The Communists didn't (and don't, present tense) allow just any joe off the street to join the Party. Only the best and brightest are allowed. How'd that work out, historically speaking? If you give the people no voice in their own government, then they're not free. Implicit in the concept of "freedom" is the freedom to choose wrongly (for various values of 'wrongly'). Without that freedom, it ain't free, is it?
More corrosive is this seemigly pervasive idea that democracy has failed, we need a new idea of how to run things. Oh, gosh, that has never happened before.

Re:Monopolies...
For the love of all that's holy, that's not what fascism is. Fascism is a political philosophy in which the state is the primary component.
Mussolini would disagree with you.
That's an odd claim to make given that Mussolini described fascism as a political philosophy in which the state is the primary component.

The banning of international sites in Germany generally ended around the year 2000, but it seems to crop up there still. -
Re:Don't make a fool out of yourself.
One of the central tenets of fascism was the abolition of religious institutions and the formation of a secular state. So "fascist theocracy" is an oxymoron.
Yeah, about that--you're thinking of Communism. See The Doctrine of Fascism:This positive conception of life is obviously an ethical one. It invests the whole field of reality as well as the human activities which master it. No action is exempt from moral judgment; no activity can be despoiled of the value which a moral purpose confers on all things. Therefore life, as conceived of by the Fascist, is serious, austere, and religious; all its manifestations are poised in a world sustained by moral forces and subject to spiritual responsibilities. The Fascist disdains an "easy" life.
The Fascist conception of life is a religious one, in which man is viewed in his immanent relation to a higher law, endowed with an objective will transcending the in of a spiritual society. "Those who perceive nothing beyond opportunistic considerations in the religious policy of the Fascist regime fail to realize that Fascism is not only a system of government but also and above all a system of thought. -

Re:FINALLY!
I would prefer fusion, but that hasn't been done yet. Next on my list would be space based solar power, but sadly that might take longer to be ready than fusion...
Ironic isn't it? Indeed, we already have *BOTH* of those things! We have a nice, safe (assuming we get real about greenhouse gasses or start wearing a lot of sunscreen) space-based solar power from, get this, nuclear FUSION. As a bonus, it's 93,000,000 miles away in case something goes wrong. Plus, we all have great view seats so we can keep an eye on things. ;-)
Other benefits: CLOSED LOOP Energy (use this solar income to convert to H2 via Hydrolysis) 2H20 + Fusion --> 2H2 + 02. No changing to the balance of sequestered carbon, distributed conversion plants (could be rooftop-based micro plants), and worldwide, to benefit all.
To paraphrase Bucky Fuller, here goes mankind, drawing down our energy endowment savings account (oil) while our paychecks (solar energy) go un-cashed. Sad, really.
It's high time we work on getting a real energy policy--something that works for all humankind, sustainably, forever.
I keep hearing about a "Manhattan Project for Energy", and now an Apollo Project for Energy.
Why not? Spread the idea! It's catching.
