Don't laugh! :-) This reminds me of Dr. Paul LaViolette's theory on extraterrestial beacons in outerspace.

"Our modern society is dependent on accurate timekeeping, which is why we rely on atomic clocks to give the correct time for use with the myriad of timekeeping devices we use today. Just as we rely on atomic clocks for split-second accuracy, they in turn are set using pulsars. First discovered in 1967, pulsars are rotating neutron stars that emit electromagnetic radiation in the form of radio waves. According to LaViolette, pulsars are not naturally occurring objects, but rather, they represent an intelligent design. One intended for timekeeping, navigation and which serves as a faster-than-light warning system for events called galactic superwaves. At best, these superwaves are an annoyance to industrialized societies. At worst, they can and do trigger extinction level events (ELE). LaViolette tells that there have already been numerous ELE cataclysms on Earth and that our planet is now moving into the cross-hairs of yet another."

He is the developer of subquantum kinetics, a novel approach to microphysics that accounts for electric, magnetic, gravitational, and nuclear forces in a unified manner and resolves many long-standing physics problems. As far as I remember, this mythical tenth planet was called Niburu. It would be our link to the stars. I believe much of the talk about it can be credited to Zecharia Sitchin. According to this site Niburu will be back in 2012 or so, near the end of the Mayan calander.

If you're right and the authorities know about this and aren't inclined to tell us, that could be very bad indeed. Let's hope that they come clean with us. I must say, our leaders are smart to be laying the groundwork for a one-world government now, so when something bad happens they can implement their vision right away, and remake the world in their dark image. No doubt the lives of billions of "ignorant masses" is not too high on their list of priorities.

I think there will be more strife between the people and their government. Hopefully nationalism is dying a messy death. However, conflicts occurring between sane people and religious fanatics are likely to become more common as fundamentalism grips larger and larger amounts of people.

I'm not too worried about giant rocks flying into, or closeby us. If it happens, it happens. If shit hits the fan, I believe all the good people in the world will pull together, and then pull through. Was it an old Chinese curse?...

According to this we should have a second Sun in order heavens by now. Break out the tanning lotion!

Noone seems to be talking about the danger that there are 40 pounds of Plutonium-238 (the most volatile form) on board this craft. Plunging into ever increasing pressure, no one knows for sure if this will cause a chain reaction, but the potential energy and temperatures are enormous.

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.

Finally. Some sense. Thank you for explaining to these freekin idiots.

Its simple folks. Lots of them are created by humans. No doubt. Lots of them cannot possibly be created by humans alone. They are too precise and carry too much meaning.

I have been studying crop circles for a while and have read lots of information.

Did you know that..

1.) Even though very very precise, the shapes are not perfect. For instance, if there is a shape of a circle, it will not be perfectly round. It will have measurements similar to what a perfect circle would look like if it were projected DOWN on the surface of the earth from about 200 miles up in the air. Sorry, I couldn't find a link for this information, it came out of my books. Don't ask me how they do the math to arrive at this conclusion, its way beyond me.

2.) The ground under the plants which have been flattened in the geometries contains traces of chemicals and compounds which indicate extreme heat. The ground right next to it, under stalks which have not been bent or flattened looks perfectly normal. Go Here and here.

3.) There was one or more formations in which a porcupine was found in the very center, flattened and dead. Its Quills were arranged in the same spiral pattern as the circle. Go Here.

4.) in 2001, a formation appeared near a radio telescope. In 1974, Carl Sagan and some other folks transitted a message out into space. The formation appears to be a reply. go Go Here and here.

5.) The formations themselves contain information in the order in which they are created and their location. Much study has been done on their relevance to each other by their physical location. No links to this that I am aware of.

There are tons and tons of little stories like that that individually don't mean much. However, taken together, paint a pretty different picture.

Its very sad that so many of you /.'ers are so quick to spout drivel and trash without first exploring a little bit.

Much of this information isn't on the Net. It is however, published in a number of books.

A very good one is by a fellow named Freddy Silva, its called "Secrets In The Fields". Its clear that he has an axe to grind, but you cannot discount the information in it.

So much work is being done and validated with regard to free energy (ZPE - Zero Point Energy, and many others), with no acknowledgment, this may be a great test.

The BLU-82 Commando Vault (also known as the Daisy Cutter) is a 15,000 lb. thermobaric bomb, not "hyperbaric" as he calls it (although I suppose it makes sense in the way he uses it). And they certainly aren't dropped from unmanned planes. They are pushed out on skids from the back of Special Operations C-130s (or perhaps AC-130s).

Also notable: The bomb used in the beginning of Outbreak (1995) was a fuel air explosive similar to the Daisy Cutter.

This is usually referred to as Tecumseh's curse. It actually started with Harrison who was President 20 years before Lincoln, and was created by Tecumseh, after his defeat in the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811.

Well, if you put any stock in Tecumseh's curse, I would rather see a republican elected in a year that ends with zero. ;)

I found a well-written article on the Zero Year curse affecting US presidents. It apparently stretches back to a Shawnee Indian chief named Tecumseh, who cursed president Harrison in 1840. Interesting stuff. And a reminder that we should keep in the back of our minds the possibility of President Cheney or President Lieberman.
