What we need is a Constitutional Congress to eliminate the prohibition against Debtors Prison and lock these people up for mandatory Life Sentences so that they can be put to use doing menial factory work for free, and ones that show some aptitude for more thought intensive work can be put on the market to serve Corporations as Indentured Servants if the Corporation is willing to pay their bond. Rule of law is great but you can't enforce it everywhere, so why try for places that do not even want or accept a strong rule of law? All you will do by making American companies non-competitive there is even further weaken the rule of law abroad. Let large companies get a foothold in and they will slowly improve things.

One major flaw in your plan is that the voting you describe should be reversed. The poor, rural, "religious", uneducated; in addition to old white males that made retirement the old fashioned way are the (shrinking) Republican party.

That is one perspective, but I do not subscribe to it. Those you describe vote Republican, but they do not control the Party, and the Party does not operate in their financial interests but rather in the financial interests of the top wealthiest tiny percent of voters. I call that tiny percent the Republican Party, as they are the only members that could possibly financially benefit from Republican politics. You will never see a Republican candidate that is poor, rural, religious and/or uneducated... they are always rich, urban, Godless and well-educated. The only thing the two types of Republicans have in common is that they are as a rule ranging from intolerant to bigoted.

I've been doing front end web development for 20 years, and while careful performance optimizations can deliver sub-second page loads I've often seen this kind of work undone by the kinds of crap that gets added in production deployments, usually done through something like google tag manager which serves to inject other javascript into a page as administered through a google-provided admin portal. You end up with multiple analytics packages, all of the trackers, facebook's universe of godless crap (and twitter's), Optimizely being employed as a CMS of last resort, and the worst offender I've ever seen: Zendesk's customer service chat client. Many of these also package their own jquery or even react framework-- and not from a CDN, where it might have been cached-- and many don't even do users the courtesy of waiting until after the DOM content is ready to start loading. So you end up loading 3 or 4 jquery scripts, plus React for a tiny chat widget, and on top of it many organizations lose track of how much stuff they are even loading.

Also, slow page speed drives down Google page rank which drives up advertising cost-per-click.

Just another complete waste of money by godless scientist pursuing worthless endeavors.

The founding father's "intent" was to ensure that any group that tried to infringe on a citizen's rights (to life) would have to be willing to die for it. Florida has turned murder into a technicality. Had the shop owner been armed, and as the "stand your ground"-cold-blooded-killer (presumably now unarmed after he put his weapon on his car) followed the victim into the store (to administer first aide) and was shot dead by the shop owner as he approached, that would have also not been murder, actually much less of an offense. Had the girlfriend been armed and simply shot dead the self-appointed handicapped parking space meter maid when he approached the car, the boy's father would still be alive, and that also would have been "stand your ground"-applicable, even illegally parked.

Florida's "stand your ground" laws permit and even encourage violent escalation. The fucker should be prosecuted regardless, not applauded by 2nd Amendment fruitcake-children that think anyone wants to take their guns away. Guns are pointless, statistically, and there is no longer any organized militia to stand against tyranny, its just that some oversized children really like their dangerous toys and with FL/TX law, gun nuts will find a reason to use their pointless and dangerous toys.

It's not so dissimilar to the Protestant Reformation. That happened because of things like the printing press and translating the Bible into German, the language more common folks can speak/read. I don't usually reply to godless lying Russian trolls, but I'm in Seattle and seeing lots of what is going on. Hiring is great in Seattle. Walk down the street and most places have help wanted signs up in the windows. Problem is that those jobs probably won't pay rent on anyplace within ten miles of downtown Seattle. As for professional jobs, we were in the market to hire somebody (because our groups people keep getting recruited for other places by their friends) and in the time that it took to post the job, collect resumes, and interview, we ended up with out fourth choice because the first three were employed someplace else before we could offer them the job.

Most of the people that are homeless in Seattle are that way because they are living paycheck to paycheck and getting forced out of their houses and apartments by raising rates without first and last to get a new place at the drop of a hat. Housing is going up 10% a year for the past twenty years. The old, cheap places are being torn down to make new expensive places. Apartment complexes are literally doubling the rent from one month to the next to force everybody out so they can remodel and charge more. This happened to one couple I know three times in the same year. Several friends, despite good jobs find themselves having to sometimes stay with friends or family till they can find a new place to live as not too many people can handle their rent doubling long term. Those without a nest egg, friends, or family will find themselves out in the street, and according to the newspapers looking into the issue, that is what is going on in Seattle.

I've no doubt all that's tracked on some server somewhere. But if it were a blockchain, the intermediaries couldn't fuck with it. It would let top China party members trust the regional bosses to collect lists of all the phone logs, money transfers, lists of people they black-bagged. Their underlings couldn't just pencil in whatever value they wanted, or run a SQL script to DELETE FROM TaxRecords WHERE name=${myNephew}.

It ALSO means they can't fuck with it, which isn't the sort of loss of control I'd expect from godless commie bastards.
