Holy Grail Action Figures
Jethro writes "Get 'em while they're hot, they're lovely! Yes, finally, Monty Python and the Holy Grail action figures are available! Unfortunately they're quite expensive ($150 for all five, and you wouldn't want to break up the set, right?) Limited edition, too!" Ships in October, but you can preorder now.

They did the Swamp Castle playset. It sank into the swamp.
They did a second Swamp Castle playset. It sank into the swamp.
They did a third Swamp Castle playset. It burned up, fell over, and is now sinking into the swamp.
Let's hope the fourth one stays up.

Actually, the rabbit is included with the Sir Robin figure. Click on Sir Robin and scroll through all the images.

One of the reasons I posted this is the people who made these things are pretty sick. They're way ahead of you - the Galahad figure does indeed come with a grail-shaped beacon!

Shh!
--- Hot Shot City is particularly good.
...I tried adjusting Galahad's belt and this tinny voice said "There's nothing wrong with THAT!"

If the disclaimer "does not actually shoot" is true, then how the hell are you supposed to taunt your action figures?
I was sort of hoping that they'd have a 12" figure of the Black Knight, complete with detachable arms and legs.
And an Old Man from Scene 24 figure would be nice as well. Now, when's the Swamp Castle playset coming out? ... or better yet Castle Anthrax!
C'mon, just a little peril....

What kind of action are we talking about? I think we should boycott these unless they are anatomically correct.
From their page:
These 12" figures are based on the characters from the Monty Python comedy 'The Holy Grail.' They have over 20 points of articulation and come with themed accessories which include chainmail outfits, shields and weapons. These figures contain sharp points and small parts and are recommended for ages 5 and up.
Sounds about right. Small parts for 12" figures.
Will it come with arms and legs? Fully articulated? Easy disassembly?
Anyway, it's nice to see the Python on the 'net; even appearing besides CowboyNeal in a slashdot poll!
I can finally determine the outcome of a battle between Luke Skywalker and Brave Sir Robin.

So, when you consider the size of these figures, the price become a little more understandable. And you can find these figure for less than the $150 originally posted.
If all you have are silver bullets, everything looks like a werewolf.
Will they be shipped in a large wooden trojan rabbit?

I would love to have the Wizard Tim Action figure. He had the coolest costume.
The city is being overrun by a herd of Lucy Liu's.
Do the action figures say "nee" or "run away, run away!"
