gerddie writes "Heise has an interview with S. Kiesewetter-Köbinger, a patent examiner of the German PA, about the cultural break, software patents will impose to Europe if they become valid. He points out the danger to open source and science, and that with patents on software even mathematical methods would become patentable because there is no longer any difference. There is also a companion article competition in the court room, that gives some more insight in the history and current state of the patent system. All is in german, but as always the fish is your friend."

ARRRGGGHHH!!! I just realized why everybody seems to think I'm a Nazi now. My original comment was directed against an individual who was posted bigoted comments with regard to Nazi's (and rather harshly at that), I assume in response to the fact that the article happens to be in German.
I'll be honest here, I personally despise the Nazi party, and every evil they stand for. I'd love to see them all burn. But you see, I shouldn't think that way, simply because if I do, I'm just as bad as they are. This is where my conflict comes into play (even leaving my religion out of it, which is difficult for me). I (probably stupidly) directed the "harsh one" to go find something useful to do instead of condemning the entire nation of Germany simply because of ONE of their political parties (admittedly, a vile one [Nazi scum], just IMHO).
To anyone who posted that I was a racist due to all this happy fun slander, I'd appreciate an apology, even if it comes posted as AC. Thank you.

Yes, you're right that I'm now at the point that I'm even getting my posts confused. My blood pressure has got to be spiking at this point... let's clarify if I can:
My original post was simply stating the person posting the EXTREME anti-Nazi stuff (the parts about bashing heads in with bats and such) really should get a life. Now, this does NOT make me a Nazi-sympathizer in any sense. I actually pretty much DESPISE them (NAZIS, that is), but (related to another of my posts) I feel conflict over this because in my book I'm not supposed to hate ANYBODY, although I happen to hate Nazis (which is wrong under my religious views, just as it would be wrong to hate anyone else I disagree with).
ANYBODY who's still consfused about this (and I know, I added to the confusion by getting mixed up myself), please email me a ceo@trilucid.com. Hell, I'll be happy to call anyone (long distance or not) to discuss this if need be. Thank you.
