    after i went and got that registration crap finished at NYT it occurred to me that I completed the registration crap over at slashdot too and as I read the NYT a lot after having gotten the reg over with as of late i find most of the NYT news replayed over here
    WTF, maybe i'll just stick to NYT (at least they tell you what AO is )

    ... cool. Especially the protest march. But the pragmatist still won't let me buy a MMORPG. I'm too easily sucked in. I'd probably lose my GF, get fired, and put on 40 pounds when I couldn't tear myself away from it.


    though I imagine in this guy's situation, it was a welcome refuge. Especially since he wasn't doing well financially.

    How about replying instead of moderating? Not being an AO-expert myself can't see how the parent is flamebait, though it may well be. Would have been much more sensible to reply why you think he's wrong, rather than moderate.
