HMS Beagle (Possibly) Found
With the Beagle 2 lander lost on Mars, good Beagle-related news has been lacking, until now. British paper The Observer is reporting that the original HMS Beagle, the ship Darwin travelled on during his famous voyage, may have been found. Marine archeologists believe they have found the ship, which has been resting at the bottom of some Essex marshes for the last century.
All i have to say is likely tale! Cause the proof is in the pudding...err marsh.
Your post would be funny if it were actually...well...funny.

Wonder if this comment was really supposed to be funny... but I actually had my laugh at it.

its amazing to me that it is considered insightful to RTFA.
The Beagle voyage is not the main evidence for evolution. It was merely the first evidence, not the best. There are documented cases of evolution in modern times. Those spotted moths that all British children learn about, antibiotic resistant bacteria, etc...
(Apologies for continuing an (semi-)offtopic discussion)
It would've been funny if it wasn't so close to home. USA is run by dangerous Christian fundamentalists.
How small a thought it takes to fill a whole life
why is this modded up? its just a lame attempt at injecting religious propaganda into the discussion
I've always felt that creationism and evolution don't conflict at all.
...their loss.)
After all, if He wanted, to, God could have created the entire universe just a moment after you read this comment. So why couldn't he have created the Earth with skeletons of dinosaurs where they are?
If someone were to tell me this is impossible, I would tell them they're underestimating God. (shrug.

The idea that a superdense particle passed into being from nothingness for no reason and with no cause is pretty hard to swallow.
If you reject effects without causes, then how can you possibly claim the existence of God without addressing the issue of who/what created him/her?

It's not my area of expertise, so I'll take your word for it. My point about bacteria still stands. And of course, common sense says that if you have random mutations, you will have evolution, so unless you claim random mutations don't happen, you have to accept evolution.
Not sure why this was modded funny... I AGREE with it.
I'd rather be a conservative nutjob than a liberal with no nuts and no job.

Believe me, acres and acres of solid concrete is far worse.
Well, then i guess you aren't afraid of hell, so in that sense, it's better for YOU. But as for me, I'm afraid of burning for eternity.
So your belief system is based on fear? Mmm-hmmm... nice religion, dude.
