HMS Beagle (Possibly) Found

With the Beagle 2 lander lost on Mars, good Beagle-related news has been lacking, until now. British paper The Observer is reporting that the original HMS Beagle, the ship Darwin travelled on during his famous voyage, may have been found. Marine archeologists believe they have found the ship, which has been resting at the bottom of some Essex marshes for the last century.

I wonder what they will find if it really is the ship Darwin travelled on.

Maybe it was not a good idea to name it Beagle, they should have named it something associated with success or at least as something tasty: Bagel.

I thought they found the Beagle sent to mars had been in esex for 150 years, and started going WTF? THEY SENT A MARS ROVER BACK IN TIME BUT NOT TO MARS?

Creationism fails utterly as a theory because it has no predictive power at all.

Wrong. It has just as much as evolution. Or perhaps I should say evolution has no predictive power at all. Since we're dealing with origins, we are necessarily dealing with a process that occurred before any of us were alive. All we can do is make observations. But it's too late to make predictions, which gives both creation and evolution a failing grade when it comes to science.

That is a very loose, and I will say wrong interpretation of the word prediction. A prediction can be tested with an empirical experiment that can either support or refute the prediction. This reasoning is to pile up observations after-the-fact and use those in place of a test.
