Blizzard Teams with Pandaren Xpress
Always on the lookout for opportunities, Blizzard Entertainment has teamed with the Pandaren Xpress restaurant chain to provide meals to your door from within the world of Azeroth. From the press release: "Blizzard Entertainment, in conjunction with the Pandaren Xpress® chain of quality restaurants, is proud to announce the /panda program! Don't let the inconvenience of eating impede you from reaching your Maximum Gaming Potential!...Now, thanks to Pandaren Xpress®, creators of low-priced gourmet meals, you no longer have to leave the group for a food break...No more tedious walking over to the telephone! No more arduous pushing of unfamiliar phone numbers!" Update: 04/02 18:02 GMT by Z : April 1st hoax story.
Considering that Mr. Pandaren also happens to be a Brewmaster, when will they get that damned /beer command working? Forget chinese food, I want someone to bring me a beer!
Do not confuse "Freedom of Choice" with "Free Will".
Cover your ears, editors... your brains are leaking out!
A few of these are funny, now it's just frickin' retarded.
Will SOE sue Blizzard over this? Or did Blizzard license the technology?
I'm sure it's an April Fool's joke, but I've never even heard of a Pandaren Xpress, so gimme a URL or something, to the joke?
I swear it was the game that made me fat. They made it so easy to order food and sit on my ass.
GOD I HATE THIS FUCKING "HOLIDAY"
Reason: Don't use so many caps. It's like YELLING.
Enjoy it... this is one of those few times where noone can yell at you to RTFA...

I must say, these April Fool's ones are getting really subtle!
Back to the subject, there is a game out there that teamed up with Pizza Hut to really allow one to order while in the game... what was it...?
How about having one "article" called "best of april fools" that you post at the end of the day, instead of a million individual "isn't this funny" articles. Yes, it's april fools day. Yes, there are some funny things out there. And yes, we actually want to see them... But do they really have to take over the whole site?
Editors of the popular technology "news" site, Slashdot were found twitching uncontrollably with blood pouring from their ears in the early morning hours of April 2nd. According to the last lucid survivor, a man who only identified himself as "CowboyNeal", all apparently succombed to madness in a last minute orgy of posting numerous, and increasingly bizarre April Fool's spoofs to their site.
According to "CowboyNeal", "Once we started, we just couldn't stop. It was like crack or something."
I'm not tense. I'm just terribly, terribly, alert.
So that we can sit in out chair all day without needing to get up to go to the bathroom!

I am trolling
because you'll find the game itself will suddenly cause ten martial artists to appear and attack you.
... but if you have a good ability, it can save you a lot of money over time.
on the other hand, if you defeat them, they leave a fortune cookie worth $10 off your next order of food while playing the game.
my guess is someone thought it was funny

I've been so jealous of EverQuest 2's /pizza feature. I mean, why spend time developing a game and its content, when you can make completely worthless marketing deals?
/pizza feature is why EQ2 is beating the pants off of WoW in subscriber count.
I think that the
No one would stop to order food in Booty Bay. They'd be dead before they could get the menu open...
Microsoft Sucks, F/OSS Rocks. I get mod points now right?
Hm. You start to wonder if perhaps Blizzard is doing this to poke fun at the /pizza thing. But no, that would be too logical.
This is my sig. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.
Of course, the entire European Server Administration Team spent weeks on that webpage.

Get a FREE in-game fortune cookie with every order from Pandaren Xpress! Warning: fortunes may come true...
The text of the fortune cookie, besides your lucky numbers is :
A change in lifestyle will lead to new possibilities for romance
A very cool April's fool joke, with clearly some thought put in it : I would have never fallen for it though (not a WOW player anyways).
Kudos to Blizzard for putting quite some time in a seemingly simple joke.
And to think you could have wasted that time fixing the client crashes that's causing some players PC's to totally freeze up.
