PC Case Made Completely of Fans

drgroove writes "I work in a computer store building PCs all day. With every new case there are one or two 8cm case fans included. Most of the systems we build do not need any more cooling than is supplied by the CPU fan as most of our customers generally don't go in for all this 'overclocking malarky.' Looking around the stock room I discovered two large boxes of unused 8cm case fans. Surfing through case mod sites, the most popular mod you see (besides Lexan windows) is some form of whizzy cooling device, be it fan or waterblock. People go to great lengths to keep their PCs cool. Now... putting these two things together..."

      slashdot used to have interesting articles, but now its nothing but junk which lame contributors stumble upon. that fan case-mod is OLD anyway, its already been linked to from just about all other casemod sites, even tho it sucks anyway =) whos gonna want a giant noisey dust blower as their computer? this article is just as bad as that 'worlds dumbest hacker' who attacked 127.0.0.1. who cares? most people have done that to some unknowing kid in their times on the net anyway. IS THERE EVER ANYTHING NEW HERE?? next someone will have joined 200 USB cables, so slashdot can announce 'worlds longest USB cable. ghey.

      That does't stop our cat... at least once a week we hear this Bzzzzzt sound as she stuffs her paw into the power supply fan. Apparently she thinks it's entertaining.
