IE Flaw Utilizes Google Desktop Search

abscondment writes "An error in the way Internet Explorer parses CSS files has been discovered by Matan Gillon of Israel. The flaw can be exploited by any website, and used to access personal information via Google's Desktop Search program. Of course, Google contends that this is a flaw with IE, and not their search software."

This is not the issue at hand here. It's mere a flaw easily fixed within the next few days. You just watch and I do use FF, IE, and Opera, all of them gives me no problems. FF and Opera's a mental thing. IE can be secure sure but the downside is that it does not have the resource as FF does being a Open Source. IE Bashing doesn't gets us anywhere. Learn from mistake and move on. Quite frankly I am sick of Slashdot's Linux/FF mental flying shit around here. This is an IT level news and take it like a man and in many cases IE works better in some instance than FF. Granted IE's security could have been better but don't you think Microsoft have been working on their products hard lately improving its security and all that. Give Microsoft some credit ad they're doing better than what you could ever do by yourself hah. If Unix and Linux are much so raved about and then tell me why their market isn't as big as Microsoft even while Unix were "the first OS" back then... Althought you reserve the right to say as you please but I really don't like bashing too much. Granted I'm using FF. ;) I took your advice before FF went public. Slash away ;)

Did I read it correctly? Is there a flaw in Internet Exploder? Nawwwww. Bill promised us that all of the bugs would be gone by now. He told us that his stuff is the bestest stuff in the whole wide world! He wouldn't lie to us, would he? (Now is where I start with the probablies). Probably all of those other products probably have the same problems. They probably can't even work like Internet Exploder. They probably crash with more bugs and stuff too. (Now I start complaining about other products, sight unseen). Those other products aren't even graphical. I want something I can use a mouse with! I don't want to type (hard when dealing with URL's, but I digress). Those other products make my eyes hurt, apparently they give you cancer, and make your computer unstable, Bill said so!

It's a well known fact that Jesus liked to take it up the ass. Him and St. Peter were very close, so close in fact that sometimes they went at it without any lube. A common refrain heard from their shared domecile was "OOH AHHH OH LORD WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME!!!!!"

It is in this way that we know that all male Christians are faggots, while female Christians like to get their rocks off with rifles and large donkeys. You see, Christianity is the religion of the homosexual and pervert, and every Christian you meet will be one.

I am wondering if google's engineers, being the best in the world knew of this possibility before releasing their software. And if they didnt, should be bring google's engineers a small step down from their pedestal. I am not throwing out any conspiracy theories here but this is just a question to slashdot readers, who assume google can do no wrong. as with any sw development the designers have to know of limitations of the platform they are developing for and work around it...
