I went by the Lokisoft booth at the Linux World Expo and played the game preview. It it a quite well done port up to par with the Windows version at first glance. It took them about 2 months for the 2 of them to port it.

All in all, it looks like a game well worth buying. They also say they have other game ports in the work though they couldn't devulge the details yet.

Perhaps the best thing to do would be to attempt to work out with the original author (Microprose?) a deal whereby you would release a public beta demo of one level or so. Of course, the downside to this is that you might be flooded with bug reports. But the upside is that you'd be flooded with bug reports. The quality or lack thereof of what you label "release" for this conversion will be used to judge your company, so it better be high-quality. A scenario like a public beta gives you at least the chance to know about lots of bugs, and hopefully enough followup with users to squash lots of them.
