    They are sensitive to wahabistic fundamentalism like all muslims. Birma sees what happens in the west and all other countries with a large amount of muslims and understandable does not want that happen there so they remove the threat. "Moderate" islam is not a stable condition, look at where the only countries where that ruled for some time, Turkey and Indonesia, are going.

    I've never seen this term used anywhere out of webdevelopment. In the embedded or application development worlds it is never used. Sometimes in mobile development, where some people believe an app should be a shell around a website but not for serious app development that does a lot of its work offline.

    I find it usefull in employment ads, so I can skip it immediately. Hacking shitty frontends together and keep them working if the hipsters dat develop webbrowsers change their minds never produces clean code.

    Preferences differ, I had a BB10 device from my employer as a test device (I worked in mobile development then) and I found itextremely unlogical and user-unfriendly.

  9. It isn't really that secure. They store secret keys on the server which makes the system vulnerable to subphoenas. With really secure systems like Signal that isn't possible.

    Filming a crime requires illegal acts in order to be created. That makes video's of crimes illegal. Somnehow I doubt this reasoning will hold up in a court of law.

    The Russian maffia probably sees it as a positive point that he took Apple's source code. If he can write great ransomware they are happy. And they pay cash, no issues with lawyers issuing orders at banks to collect.

    RCS is just as much alive as windows phones. The generic system that (almost) everyone can use is sms, and for more (and, in ost parts of the world outside the US where unlimited sms is not the standard, cheaper) there are a lot of far better messengers out there. Considering the fact that end 2 end encryption is not part of RCS I prefer it to die anyway.
